I just had a ridiculous quote, hacking cost $1k and make good wall cost $950!

My relative doing reno for me, I was quoted $3,800 for hacking kitchen wall to create a new entrance, $1,750 for new wall , and was told that these 2 cost dun include touch up.

Huh that’s not right rectification is rectification, they have to complete it by 14 days and u hv to document it down, any dissatisfaction should be highlighted to your officer or HDB Branch officer.

Hello, i have a friend who works in HDB and does rectifications for tenants. she said it is not true at all. we shouldnt be paying in the first place.

I change the existing kitchen entrance from near the main door to facing the dining area.

it remains, cos now my kitchen entrance next to main door, I dun like tat every time I want to go kitchen, must walk to main door.Change the entrance to face the dining area to gv the kitchen some "privacy".

nono, im replying to someone's else post asking if its true that paying will expedite the rectifcation process haha.. i didnt request for HDB rectification at all cause mine are all very minor issues such as door scratches, uneven painting and wall tiles pointing gap.. my ID says that his contractor can solve all this issues together when doing renovation for us. so i skipped that draggy process haha

Now its making me less convince to choose that ID..
I still chasing for keys... haiz...
they tell em my expired HLE need to apply new, but system don allow..
one big round , i ask for extension.. must resubmit documents again...
HDB really horrible...

Ayes what happened? Tell them it’s not your fault that e HLE expired if HDB is gonna delay u this way. Demand that e HLE shd based on your old doc there’s no changes.

It's some slider at top of door that acts like door stopper. Or what door stopper do you use for main door?
