no love for their wallets?

ooh ya forgot to add that in too.

huh that diamond spikey thing is their trademark item? I saw quite a few people carrying it, that was when I know about such brand, which didn't make me regard too highly of. :o

yup and also their signature cognac brown monogram bags. its has been more popular of late due to multiple K-pop celebs carrying their products and being photographed by paparazzis.

how u know is fake:s11::s13:

hmm dunno how to spot yet, but i think it might be something to do with the metal tag on their bag's? real one much smaller while the fake one much larger?

OH MY GOD......I can remember every single brand you listed.......feeling so old now.....

hahaha no lah where gotch old, just nostalgic nia. other things that are associated to those days are...

Hmm, this brand is fast gaining popularity worldwide and especially in Asia with numerous K-pop celebrities toting and carrying its famous studded backpacks.

A Brief History:
It was a German brand founded by Michael Cromer in Munich in 1975 as 'Michael Cromer Munich' (MCM). It was headquatered in Zurich, Switzerland until 2005, where it was purchased by Sungjoo Design Tech & Distribution, and renamed 'Mode Creation Munich' (MCM).

I frequently travel to Taiwan, especially Taipei. They only sell a handful of MCM products on EVA airlines so basically Taiwan's out of the MCM scene for now. My last trip to Taipei was 3 weeks ago. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to get a MCM backpack in Hong Kong? I'm making a trip there this weekend.

When I say cheaper, I mean compared to Singapore's outlets and not Korea's.

Anyone knows about it? Hong Kong and Singapore, which is cheaper?

Plus, I know about the opening of the MBS outlet and the one in T2 transit which has more general selections compared to MBS.

However, I wasn't even aware MCM is being sold in Takashimaya until a relative working in retail told me today. Heard it is small but carries more satisfying selections from MCM. Going to check it out this week before my flight.

mcm hk & sg which cheaper?

Looks like not many people know or have bought from HK before. As this brand is popular but not as prestige as a BV per se, guess for this forum most would have bought from either Korea or Singapore. Still waiting for my answer though.

Good to hear that. Going to get my hands on one either medium or large by next week! Waited too long.

the damn MCM bag is really fuggin solid. no regrets. :o
mine is the medium one. laptop + pencil case + sch notes in, still lotsa space left.
love the laptop sleeve compartment. :o:o
large is quite big you know? unless you really have loads of stuffs to put inside your bag, i would think the medium one would do well enough.
ya man, don't wait already, hoot. this **** is worth the money. :D:D;)
