Am currently involved in a closed trial for Singtel's new Wireless Home Bridge.

This may be the new successor to the Ruckus Wireless or Comtrend Powerline Adapters......

It's a pair of Aztech WB210-Z (IEEE 802.11a/n 5GHz 3T3R Wireless Video Bridge).

1 is connected to my Asus AC66U and the other is connected to my Mio TV Set Top Box. Very good so far and no glitches:D

the signal strength is for?wireless or their fibre ?

For those, who have subscribed to old Jingxuan, should have received letter from Singtel to inform of cessation some channels - Mei Ah channels (ch577 & ch578)

In the letter, there are 2 special offers - Jingxuan+ combo or Jingxuan Movie Combo at $19.05/mth. I find the offers are attractive cos I am paying $21.90 for old Jingxuan (before 10% discount). So, I signed up for Jingxuan+ combo at $19.05/mth, but comes with 24-month contract.

Up for awareness :)

On Demand goign away

My non Chinese speaking friend is quite unhappy.

The four US on demand channels are going away, and they are giving him two Chinese channels. See what happens once he calls them up tomorrow....

Many thanks for the pixs!

The offers are v good, vs the market rate.....rates for 2 yrs too. The same chs on Starhub especially the movie chs revealed Starhub marked up their prices way too much!!

Agreed. I'm also getting family+ too when taking up the offer. The downside, I am being charged for the rental of set up box - $4.90/mth.

Finally I opted for fiber, will be ditching the adsl in 2weeks time. My ONT is installed on the 2nd storey and I will like to have the miotv back to the living room (maybe 30m away) used to watch bpl in my room but will be welcoming my first child henceforth better to install the miotv in the living room. Anyone know if the trunking from ONT to my miotv will be foc?

Wah, if so i have to pay for the other 20m , :(

If its too exp, that I go SLT buy CAT6 cable and lay myself from top to living room via the same trunking that came up with ONT.

Anyway for Singtel, I will be getting 2wire 5012 and Aztech 700 ? :zonia:

It's more worth to lay CAT6 cables ard the house. You will need only one fiber. I did that and can watch miotv anywhere the house. The new Aztech has much better performance. Dun use 2wire.

Singtel miotv sucky? Keep having problems and breaking down eh? Thinking whether to switch my miotv from starhub tv and sign the fibre family pack considering singtel fibre internet quite good? But dunno how miotv is like now? Is it much more stable or problematic?
