Might seem illogical if after 30 April, we need to pay for this channel

The SGX will charge ST a licensing fee for distribution. If the data is live realtime without delay, then SGX will also charge the end-user a monthly fee through ST. There is no exception unless ST foot the bill. It is not cheap.

I will be surprise if this is a free channel.

Just changed to the dvr box and encountering no sound during first power on. Need to restart the box before sound returns. Using Samsung 60h6300. Any one has this problem?

Happen to me sometime, using HDMI. This is an issue with HDMI. For me when the problem occur, I off and on the TV to refresh the HDMI connection and there will be sound. Faster than re-starting set top box.

Or if I feel like physical, I unplug and plug the HDMI cable. Changing channel (both TV or set top box) will not work

seems to me from the site the bundles only gives some basic channels for miotv.

They call it the fiber entertainment bundles. Fiber with tv. By default you get free family channels, but if you want sports, should be any of the gold packs. Still got $20 rebate.

on a side note, anybody knows whats the lowest cost package i can get that includes fibre (any provider), bpl (mio) and tvb drama (starhub)? of course not all 3 as a bundle, but the lowest cost i can pay for all 3.

currently i am on starhub broadband, starhub cable tv and miotv all separately, so monthly close to $200. all the contracts are up so looking to decrease cost.

You can check with the hotline, I think its also on their flyers t&c. But your tv must be part of 3in1 bundle. I have similar service that's why I see the rebate in my bill.

St 200mbps - $69.90
Tv box - 4.90
Gold pack - 69.90
Total = after $20 rebate - about $125

Anyone encounter this problem where the mio tv box cannot be reboot? All the led light lit up in the front panel and the power cannot be off no matter how long I press it.

Try to turn off the main power and switch on again, and it remain the same. Box up lorry liao?

I also notice the ethernet led on the black mio modem is also off......meaning no network?

But my fibre internet connection and phone line is working fine though.....

if thats the case, try changing the ethernet cable of your miotv set top box. after changing if still not working, try connecting the miotv to other ethernet ports to try.
