The problem as many have pointed out is the lack of consistency. Different mods with different interpretation of what is allowed & what is not.

This was less prevalent in now defunct forums like Superpet or even HWZ several years back where mods were mostly older & more mature people. When mods are mostly youngsters, some with an inflated ego & the need to show their “power” cos they have none in the real world, then you have this problem.

Not an easy job. Let’s hope it improves.

Advocating that any woman deserves to be raped is not a viewpoint that is condoned on EDMW or elsewhere on these forums. Two wrongs do not make a right, either.

Since you resent having to filter your choice of words for forum decency, you are welcomed to spend time with your friends offline to espouse your opinions for their amusement/bemusement.

Just caught up with this issue after the weekend.

I've no idea why this is even being debated, but I appreciate the other members chipping in to shed some light to the complainant.

basically someone posted a thread of a video where a woman said a guy who kena a potentially fatal blow deserved it for being racist, and so i personally feel that anyone who feels that a person deserves to be potentially murdered just for saying racist things then by same logic (of disproportionate punishment) deserves to be raped.

however as far as mods and admins are concerned, if your opinion/ viewpoint differs from theirs then it is indecent/ unacceptable and u cannot say it:

You “live” in people’s house, you just have to follow their rules and their opinion matters. Reality of life, if not you can always walk away.
