Hello I'm currently building a mickey mouse similar to the one on Chris' nanoblock blog but I just found out that there seems to be two types of white (one for the face area and another for the eyes). By any chance do any of you all know which model will sell the white eyes? I went to buy the zebra just now but i turned out to be more to the beige white... :s11:

the whites around the eyes are actually the "normal whites"
Found in almost anything? Polar bear, Panda, Hokkaido Dog, etc etc.

the face area is beige white (i.e. beige Alpaca/Sheep)

a good to have but not a must have.
widely available, just wait for a friend to visit Japan and ask them to help you grab one. About 1000 yen +/- 50 in most stores.

I see.

Btw, which deluxe nanoblocks are worth getting?

I have been looking at the tweezers too, but the SG price is overpriced compared to Japan. I'm still thinking how it can be useful as I have alternatives.

The new blocks have been re-adjusted so you don't have to chip your fingernails. The oldskool version was probably infamous for causing a lot of pain when you try to remove a tiny block like the round one.

Deluxe editions are nice to have, but you need to have space for the display. It would be a shame to buy and not being able to display the beauty of it.

Also, dust is a damn problem.

There's a glass cabinet in my room, built together with bed, wardrobe, etc so space isn't a big problem.

Hmm. The length is about 90cm? Not sure about breadth.

I don't know which sets I should get. Any recommendation?

Me just hoot a titanic and space deluxe at amazon for 177 sgd.
Gonna buy those small nano display box and connect together for them.
