after building Schloss Neuschwanstein miniature ver, feeling quite shiok sia
400 dollars and above will get the customs to slap a 7% GST tax on you, so you have to keep it in mind.
From the official Nanoblock website: the price of it is 17,850 yen, meaning it is about $214.57. The price could have went up since Japan changed its GST rate to 8%, and if the set is out of production, the price will go up even more.
???????????nanoblock
You can try looking at Japanese websites and do a rough gauge, and then calculate the difference in the markup price.
I'm not an expert in collecting, so it is best to ask the people who are more familiar with this set.

If all else fails, you can consider getting the Schloss Neuschwanstein or Himeji-castle?
Thanks for your advice but I got it at 300. After looking at various sources such as plamoya and Amazon (USD 280), this is the cheapest one. I guess the increased in price is reasonable since it was released nearly 3 years ago.
Not sure if I should get Schloss Neuschwanstein. It's doesn't look appealing to me but it should be quite challenging with 5800 pieces.
You can look at the Himeji-castle if you aren't into Schloss Neuschwanstein. I think the Deluxe edition did justice in showing the complexity of Japanese architecture.
If not, you can look at the Yamato battleship. I think it is less common now.
I don't really like this two as they are too grey in colour. Maybe I will wait for further deluxe.
If I were to compare, I like Schloss Neuschwanstein better than this two.
Edit: How much is a non-mark up Schloss Neuschwanstein?
19,800 yen (excluding 8%tax) = $238

The Yanato box art does not do much justice to the completed model. Although largely grey, it looks very nice & detailed when completed... So impressed that i spent another 305 to go ebay to get the Akagi. That was 2-3 years back haa. Come to think of it, USS enterprise actually got less details than the Jap warships
One eBay seller is selling one at about sgd180 because the box has a small tear. You think this is worth it?
If you don't keep the box, then just get it at SGD180.00.
Is a pretty good steal at that price.
Happy Nano-ing!
Personally I think deluxe schloss no kick at all in terms of complexity. Its extremely squarish. Most of the time you are just building walls. Himeji is slightly more challenging.
The unicorn is one of the most detailed sets you'll own I think. I love mine. Haha..

So many different comments. Not sure what to get now.
Question: Which is the most challenging deluxe? Exclude the sky tree.

Lol. My bro accidentally put his loz nanoblock box in my drawer then I'm like since when did I get the China brand. Then I open his drawer: pokemon and architecture nanoblock.
Don't even know why he get the architecture ones. According to price on qoo10, some architecture more expensive then real one.
Buying LOZ locally is a rip-off regardless and strangely it is quite popular.
At least he didn't mix up the blocks with yours.![]()
I put mine in another place. Haha. Don't know why some loz actually cost more than the real ones.
