The castle is part of the lottery draw so those who got lucky have a chance to get it. Funny how TBS got some.

Nanoblock in Metro are white tag items. So only during their anniversary sale will you get 20% off. Other times only blue tag.

OG on the other hand has nanoblock on blue tag. So when OG have 20% sale for blue tag items, you can go shopping for nanoblocks there.

Wait for the advertisement like a OG sale or something, likely to happen each month. Check the newspapers. The best place since the snack department is just nearby.

they go buy indivdual type.
So if for a certain size, the is 4 colours. they will give all the extras for all the colour.

Speaking of extra pieces, can anyone help me do a simple test and verify that it is true?

I have found out the inconsistency in standardizing the shades of a colour; for example, if you gather all the white blocks from all your collections and compare with each other, they aren't the same white colour as you think.

I have written the issue in my page over here, but I hope to spread the awareness: https://www.facebook.com/notes/stra...t-shades-of-nanoblock-colours/622607297749990

If the blocks deteriorated in such a short time, your displays should have collapsed. :s22:

Cannot be UV or storage because the newest blocks which are different came straight fresh from the package. It might be easier to track if the if there is a batch number.

I first saw this problem when I was sorting out my bricks 1+yr ago. As mentioned earlier, there could be discolouration due to the weather and storage.

I am more inclined perhaps to feel that even within a certain colour tone, there are more than one type of shade.

Wait till you get to the shiny and matte differences. It will kill you.
So...best is just don't get into the details too much and just sort them out by the general shade :D:D

Why you never point this out to Simon ah? Could have gotten an answer already. lol.

I have some glossy blocks, probably it came from the Macaw, but I'm not sure how far this problem goes cos I don't have a huge collection like you. :s22:

You will know why I am "very on" on this issue when you start making a custom and that stupid block doesn't fit among the rest because it is whiter than the whites. If you buy pick-a-block with the colour set and they don't match, it can be a headache. With the upcoming release of the colour sets, I want to have an assurance on the consistent colour QC.

If you really say discolour and deteriorate within a short time, I guess we better start worry about an unsustainable hobby. Lego peeps have collated and documented their own Lego quality reference, so I think since Nanoblock is expanding rather rapidly, we should have our own quality reference in the near further.

It would also be nice if Kawada has a official full colour chart. The pick-a-block site chart is outdated so we can't tell which are the legit shades.
