Kino prices can be very steep sometimes.

i get the membership, then i hold off buying until they have the 20% storewide for members :D

they're quite strict if you don't have the card on hand, you need to show photo ID.. so at most 2 friends can share. i leave my card with my sister.. i always pretend i forget to bring.. hahaha.. :s13:

thanks for the affirmation! tonight go order. :s13:

pink panther where got ar?

Yes, Simply.Nano has a good reputation. So can buy from them la. :)
Endorse by so many lao jiao here alr...mai tu liao. Their prices aren't cheap, but they do have kits that you can't get elsewhere in SG at a lower price.

Pink Panther is USJ exclusive...not sure if TBS still has...or check with simply.nano if they still have stock?

Here's probably what sparked off a licensing dispute.

Basically, Kawada charges overseas distributors a fee for exclusive rights to sell nanoblocks in their own home countries. However, if people can buy them off AmiAmi, then they bypass the local distributors and then the local distributors won't be able to earn.

In the same way, certain special designs and kits also have extra licensing fees. I.e. Pokemon range. So...Kino in SG sells them probably because they have the licensing rights from their parent company in Japan. HOWEVER, they still have to get their supplies directly from the local distributor in SG - LM.

So, even though the local distro brought them in from JP (Blue packaging), they cannot sell them at Action City, Toys R Us etc.

So...we as the consumers have to pay more $$...simply because the item goes through the hands of 2 parts of the supply chain... =\

Smells like parallel imports. If local distributors can't get what the collectors want, the second choice is usually international online stores.

Can't blame AmiAmi for hurting sales (if that is even true).
