If I am him after get this salary I will add one more thing

No trade clause to fully secure the deal and more satki :)

Not I see him no up or what

I know he is the face of the team maybe they do their maths give him so much can do competitive in the league and sell tickets

If I not wrong got is 60m???

To me that person atleast is mvp caliber or won rings before the team then pay them so much

Warriors pay curry so much is he literally bring the team from lottery team to a 4 championships 2nd highest value in the league.. Plus warriors "owe him "that's y pay him so much .

Even lillard is good but I feel blazers doesn't lack the next guy to replace them to be their "face "

Last time even got Brandon roy also very good

I feel Simmons got the star quality in him just replace him sua

Lillard is seriously too overpaid. There was a season which he was in the All-NBA first team. Very surprised by it tbh. That allowed him to get the max from then on.

Come to think of it, Blazers had a great team during the Brandon Roy era. They had Oden, Roy and Aldridge etc.

If Oden and Roy weren't injured, they would probably have this big 3 of Oden, Roy, Lillard. But I doubt Lillard would get the max if both Oden and Roy were playing like superstars.

As mentioned blazers to me I know abit their history

They are decent franchises doesn't lack the "next guy "to step up for them

Even in late 90s when they face Lakers they are one of my fav teams.. With rasheed Wallace Steve Smith that group they play basketball got the "seh" abit like bad boys vibes

They should move on n rebuild from Simons sua

The current west is too strong it's hard to win with a player take so much salary and expect to have pieces from outside join the team to win the chips

Unless he is Like young leflop really can dominate the game both ends of the floor then maybe got stars will join this team

If not the timeline now for blazers is just not there yet in this current west

They should look in the future groom their own players compete with the younger team then have higher chance in next 5 to 10 years ba

Would like to see them rebuild too. Rather than overpaying their players with little effect.

Wow~ Utah gonna lose both Gobert and Mitchell in one offseason?
From all the sources

Seems that they going to rebuild this season Liao

Atleast they got more balls to do it rather then like certain teams give fat contracts to their players yet still not up and down
