What's the pros and cons of bto/resale?

The pros for resale is.
- bigger flat
- better location (can choose)

cons many many
- old lease (new lease resale is ***** expensive)
- reach 40 years cannot use full cpf amount,(hard to sell off)
- some resale in bad condition, need to do massive rehaul
- don't have the new environment feeling
- misc costs, if lets say need upgrading for piping etc

ok la...1k is small money compared to the number of years you going to live in there.

the reno etc are all way bigger factors

and maybe i get a shitty number anyway. i apply more than 8 times liao bto...still nv tio anything...
