Hi Guys,

I am using the new Android Pie (Home, Back) as my navigation method. Is there anyway we can hide the back key at home screen like the Pixel?

My back button disappears on its own when not in an app.

Yes there's no back button when at the home screen. Only the home button.

Thanks bro. After you mentioned i realized this happens only on the Nova launcher. Default launcher no back button on home screen. I will see for any settings in nova launcher to hide it by default.

For me, initially also got a shock over this. But using Nova launcher. Just use gestures /swiping on screen to get to your home screen or back button. After a while I got used to using gestures, and really easy to navigate without using back or home button

i tried using gestures initially when they introduced the feature but i felt it was not smooth. Moreover when i was in whatsapp after sending the message (keyboard is still visible) i tries to swipe up from center to go home or swipe from sides to go back always hit the space bar or some keys and the messages will be in draft. Super Annoying. By the way i use swiftkey.

Before Pie, I used gestures with the default launcher and felt that the screen protector didn't make it such a smooth experience. The thumb will always touch the edge of the protector.

I am planning to buy a Oneplus 6/6T from China. I was wondering if it will work in SG with Starhub as it is the A6000 model and how will I be able to install google play store.

Edit: When I ran a frequency check, some versions were supported but others weren't.

Flash the rom, but iirc is missing some bands. It should work but not sure if got affect..

Gotta ask those export sets users.

You can just consider locals sets. With coupons etc it is cheaper and less hassle.

Default pixel gestures only got the pill button. Unless some other launcher.

I am annoy too by the back gesture. Always hit the mic record.
I'm on Gboard.
Went back to default pixel pill.

Nope. Cache is cache. Just dont select wipe data

Go battery and unoptimized it. See if it helps.

After multiple times of uninstall install WhatsApp. I gave up and do a reformat of phone. Now seem ok.

I'm running dual SIM, 1 local 1 overseas. For some reason 4g keep changing to overseas sim and then it will show an exclamation mark (phone services) as I off roaming. Any ideas?
