seems based on the comments, a lot of people like wireless charging, but i guess if they included it, the price would be even higher.

Anyway a lot of people don't seem impressed, which is good because more stock for the ones who are going to buy the phone..

Don't know why the OPPO R15 Pro has a IP67 rating while the OnePlus 6 don't have a similar rating..

The new 2nd camera is solely for portrait mode. It doesn't help with low light or anything.

Putting glass back without purpose is stupid. Yeah better reception, but 5 series don't have issue on this. Why make it more fragile?

Wireless charger (atleast for me) is also a safety net incase my port is spoiled. You have 2 options to charge in case. Back in my Sony Xperia Z2 days, I used the magnetic charging more because the flap design is so bad that time.

As for the price, yes they are cheaper.. if you are buying it from US or any countries it was released. But here, I'm sure the price will be around >$900. It's not cheap.

yeah, gst/import cost sucks. I myself flew to sg to pick up my 5T from indo. But i saved about 600 sgd in comparison to iPhone X, and 300 sgd in comparison with the 2XL, so not bad la.

Hmm I know Carl didn't talk about the low light for the second lens, but I assumed it will be similar to the 5T since the 5T has a similar spec, I guess we will find out in the full reviews.

Yeah could be. If they say it's IP67, confirm got ppl will go and dunk it into the water or pool and if its water damaged, they will blame Oneplus.

And the 20MP secondary sensor? Well, it's the same one used in the OnePlus 5T, but its sole purpose is to add depth information for the phone's much-improved portrait mode. No low-light tricks; no telephoto gimmicks.

But yeah, maybe we will know more if they perform more thorough review.

Guys, we agree (well for me) wireless charging is not a deal breaker for the phone. The concern is more on the decision on going to glass back (which is more fragile) but serves no real purpose. If you go to that route, atleast make it useful.

Like the decision of other OEM to also put a notch. What's the use of notch if you still have a chin.

And what's the use of putting dual camera if the other one is almost useless.

Just making it clear.

The Chin is already pretty small already from the pictures I've seen. Definitely smaller than even the 5T so yea... Personally, don't know why people are so uptight about a notch.
