Is this behaviour the same for all OP phones from China even though flashed with Oxygen OS?

A6000 is China variant with Hydrogen OS, just flash over to OxygenOS rom will do, which I think what you already had.

A6003 is International variant with additional 3 more LTE bands, that the main difference in hardware. The latest build OxygenOS is 5.1.6.

Interestingly the security patch is still 1 May 2018 instead of using the latest patch from Google which is 1 June 2018 (maybe in the next update)

i think oneplus distro have to liaise with telco to enable volte for a6003 . maybe can check with distro . on imda website when i try search oneplus 6 it's not listed inside but distro got imda stick on their oneplus 6 =x tried oneplus 6 . one plus 6 . a6003 and even distro name also cannot find the info on imda website . weird . only oneplus 5t is listed on imda website .

Dun think significant unless you need to use the phone in countries using that 3 additional bands.

For SG, LTE bands 3,7,8 are supported for both variants.

From gsmarena, look like the 3 additional bands are 30(2300), 32(1500) and 71(600).

Currently, Bootloader is completely exposed and reflashable with insecure boot images even without unlocking the bootloader.
This is a serious vulnerability as it allows an attacker with physical access to take control of the device. If the boot image is modified with insecure ADB and ADB as root by default, then an attacker with physical access will have total control over the device.

i believe most are on the global A6003 version.

no impact. but if the telcos decide to add the device into VoLTE compatible list, it will be A6003

Incremental roll out of OTA updates, expect it in the coming days/weeks. If you want it early you can use VPN and set to Germany/Canada

No problem with YouTube though.
