Battery life isn't quite as good as the mate 10 pro which is a monster without much optimisation. I know its 3700 vs 4000mah, need to get used to it. Lol. Need to do some tweaks.

Charging on Ugreen QC3.0 charger using 5V/2.4A port, 44% to 72% from 750pm to 830pm. 40mins to charge up 28% using a Huawei supercharge compatible cable. This is quite slow. Saw some posts that OP only allows charging at 1.5A using 3rd party chargers and cable

Suddenly use my iPhone realize that the gesture is so much better.

Then went on to watch a video and realize the screen is so much smaller.

Gotten my 6/128Gb Mirror Black set from 131express in the afternoon and loving it so far. Screen is better than what I saw from the display set but there is a curvy line at the top right which I suspect is a defect on the pre-applied screen protector but I dont dare to remove it to confirm because I dont have a tempered glass yet.

Did some tweaks and battery life now much better, maybe battery needs some calibration warm up.

Fully charged 11hrs ago, now 79%, SOT 2hr 21min.

I couldn't back up my apps and data to Google Drive. Settings -> Google -> Backup. "Back up now" button is disabled, app data and call history etc shows "waiting to back up". I didn't have this issue on EMUI. Anyone has this issue? No solutions on oneplus forum.

Battery needs 2 to 3 charging cycle to calibrate. U will see some significant increase in batt life after u charge at least 2 to 3 tjmes

I used these as a guide but didn't follow all of the tips. I didn't turn off background data at the app level, too tedious.

You can try https://sg.carousell.com/sweet.deals/ but i'm not sure if the tempered glass can work with the fingerprint sensor, at own risk. I'm still waiting for my tempered glass and film protector from taobao. I think 6T isn't quite an anticipated release especially in October with so many phones release, don't see many screen protectors and cases in taobao especially and local shops

got the full coverage one from them. But the edges don't really adhere well, some gap. Like early Galaxy protectors. Maybe need whitedome. Or maybe I'll just screw it and use without a protector

All done with my review.

Basically, I like it, more than I did the OP6. Now it's not just a phone with fast performance and good software, but the battery life has been pretty good for me too. It also has a few unique features like the almost bezel-less screen with very tiny notch, and the optical fingerprint sensor underneath the screen. The price is a tiny bit higher than the OP6, but the bump to 128GB more than makes up for it. At a time where every other OEMs are raising their prices significantly, the price of the OP6T actually feels a lot more palatable compared to the OP6.

In typical OP fashion, it still has its compromises to hit this price point, but none of those are huge deal breakers. It does everything else well enough, and it still retains its strength of having one of the best performance and the nicest android experience around.

The latter is a little subjective, but to me I really like the way it's customisable, filled with useful features, but still doesn't compromise on performance and the look and feel of the software. It's basically like the custom ROMs that Android fans used to love. It may not get updates as quick as Pixel devices, but it's not as restrictive.

Anyway, if you're looking to buy one, I think the OP6T is an easy recommendation considering what it offers. But I would recommend waiting for coupons, discounts, promotions, before getting one of course. :s12:

Battery life seems crazy, mostly surfing on Wifi. Screen brightness around 70%.
Overnight standby drop around 2-3% in 7++hrs
