i dont think he refers to ram management. he is referring to sometimes when u double tap on screen to go to lock screen or single screen to go to ambient display, sometimes it wont respond, which i encounter myself too

only thing which film does better is that there wont be lesser chance of white air gaps at the sides where the screen curves

exactly...... i have encountered a few TG when comes to curve screen... can't settle properly... will see how it goes... the worse is to get the TG from OP...

But anyway, think it's something which most is not able to resolve for now on that curved edge which is why most comes with black border for full coverage.

anyway... the SP film from aliexpress doesn't cost alot... so it is fine by me... worse case is really get the OP TG...

I know SP film is cheap but also easier to get scratch..

ETA 1st dec so probably early next week then can arrange to collect at pickup point.

Received 2 other TGs bought from taobao. Didnt paste it on, it affects the fingerprint sensor, couldn't detect my finger at times.

either you send them an inquiry from Qoo or if there's a number to contact them, call them to inquire on your purchase. I inquire and whatsapp the seller.

I did, and thankfully they just responded. Looks like it’ll be shipped out from HK tomorrow then 3-4 days thereafter they said. So 4th Dec most likely, which is fine I guess. My bad on not realizing before purchasing that GeekerMart’s HK based (the lack of self-pick up should’ve been obvious but it slipped past me hahah). 131Express was just far too ex previously hahah. Nevermind, I’lll get back here next week to share my thoughts on how the phone feels!

1. volume slider doesn't come out when I click the volume buttons
2. double tap to wake sometimes doesnt work
3. not sure whether this is a bug but sometimes my screen woke up because it thought someone says 'ok google' but in fact nobody saying that

I still find it a good phone, enjoy using it.

Also I find the ram management too strong, my apps reload more than my old note 5 which only have 4Gb ram compared to the 6Gb ram on my Oneplus 6t. Is there a setting to make it better?

for problem 2.

i think its either double tap to on screen, or single tap to show ambient screen. you can only choose 1 of the 2 and not able to activate both.

ram management is fine here... you could probably do a wipe to see if same prob still occurs.

hmm just feel that app and webpage reloads more especially noticeable since I'm playing Pokemon GO. Although the reload is quite fast but by right shouldn't reload that much compared to say my old Note 5.

Found another bug haha, when I lock my screen after I use whatsapp it will show part or full of my whatsapp screen on my lockscreen.
