Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is official, Nvidia itself calling it a 'BFGPU'. It's easily the most powerful gaming graphics card Nvidia has ever made, and it will easily blow the PS5 and Xbox Series X out of the water when they are released later this year. The next-generation consoles support '8K display output', the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 supports 8K gaming.

GPU 3090 will be capable of 69 teraflops :D

Sony has confirmed that PS5 will have a GPU capable of 10.28 teraflops. This puts it slightly behind Xbox Series X, which has up to 12 teraflops.

you will probably need a corresponding monitor that can do 8K to utilize those TFs.

plus 8K60 is DLSS. In native 8K, the games were running at 15-20fps.

but i guess Sony got it right, no way developers will target 4K natively. most effective way is to use tricks (DLSS, Checkerboard rendering) to reach that resolution.

PS5 Digital Edition - SGD $599
PS5 - SGD $699 (Max $749)

That's what I'm expecting. It's comparable to previous PlayStation launch price in Singapore.

PS3 - $799 (Mar 2007)
PS4 - $639 (Dec 2013)

I'm buying PS5 on day one, just like I did with PS3 & PS4. It's been a long 7 years, can't wait for a new generation to begin. This will be a much bigger generational leap compared to the modest jump from PS3 to PS4.

PC master race, but many gamers will still buy ps5 and switch for the exclusives, xbox series x is going to be even more pointless now.

yes I will still buy PS5 if it has good variety of games that I’m interested in , currently my PS4Pro has lack of game to play :s13: waiting for cyberpunk 2077

FPS just feels better on the PC :D

probably buy the 3090 too to display in an acrylic case

that’s meek bro it’s possible if you use their latest 3090 to run 4k at toned down settings for possibly 30-60fps?

4k at ultra settings with all the bells and whistle on and still run smoothly like hot knife cutting through butter better :) probably need to wait another 2 decades until 2040

With the reveal by Xbox Singapore that the pricing of the
Xbox Series X is at SG$699 and the
Xbox Series S is at SG$459,

We can have a rough idea of where the PlayStation 5's pricing will fall at. Thank goodness it did not break the $1000 barrier. Goodness... Have been worried that these new gen consoles will be priced way too high.

Think Microsoft won this gen. Most people are still on 1080p. So they are gonna sell a lot of series s.

Sony only targeted 4K and no way they can match that 299 price point. We are lucky if one of them is closer to 400 usd.

Then again, if ps5 actually pushed 4K tv sales, that will be a very different story.

But very interesting is that series s ended up as the highlight for them more than series x.
