I on the other hand is spending wayyyyy too much time on it after receiving my unit last month; now I am attempting to reset my time allocation to game play, and go back to normal a little ... need to allocate more time to friends, exercise, and SLEEPING ! LOL

so many exclusive going on to pc, what's the point of having ps then? they also cant be launching a new game every year for their exclusive/ip like GOW and etc

I'm playing Bloodborne (Old Hunters Edition) now and it's sooooooo good that I wonder why I didn't play it back in 2015. A bit wasted that they didn't patch it to be 4K 60fps or is it because of the difficulty to do so?

Are you all playing anything from the PS+ Collection? Since it's like a free starter kit before all the PS5 big titles arrive in the near future.

We need MORE games discussion in here!!!

haha im sure pretty much of us are from that time..

i saw the intro two days back, like not bad

but gotta watch the gameplay and online features first to decide.. esp the matchmaking and pvp.. this is one game that i am afraid of crossplay for pvp.. battlenet nightmare :s13:

I find it strange that older games don't automatically take advantage of the high speed storage drives on the PlayStation consoles. The speed is about same or only slightly faster when upgrading PS4 internal drive to SSD version, and now loading PS4 games in PS5 SSD also load only slightly faster.

On PC, I can load up a 20 year old game and it will load up as fast as whatever high speed drives I'm using but for some reason this doesn't apply for the PlayStation consoles, not sure about the Xbox consoles though as I don't have them.

I think this is due to the way Playstation games are created, that the developers locked the game performance, in this case the game loading speed, to a fixed constant hence it cannot take full advantage of high speed drives.

Indeed. I think Sony's catering to the PC platform will in the long run dilute the advantages of having a PS5, they're basically slowly killing the PlayStation platform.

The reason I had a PC and Playstation for gaming is because each had their pros and cons. With most PS games going to PC I'm less convinced to get a PS5 or PS6 and beyond, for that matter.

Glad that they continue with the PSVR in PS5. One of the uses of my PS4 PSVR is to watch 3D Blu-ray movies. My 55" Samsung 3DTV which was around 10 years old (I think) broke down last year and seems like not a lot of new 3DTVs available on the market.

Also, I wonder can we have 2 player VRs? It would be great if the new PSVR support 2 players (using 2 PSVR sets of course), though the PS5 likely not powerful enough to drive 2 VR sets.

I think there isn't any 2 player VR on the market right now? I foresee will need an even larger area for 2 person to swing their arms about.

Likely the games are designed to pause and load as it assume the console is ps4
