Eh Jason, no need to spam the whole thread with your PS5 Pro dream la.
You cannot compare consumer hardware release with console one, the current PS5 / XBOX build already set at least 2 years ago, console not like PC just anyhow hantam newer architecture into the box one le, like that optimisation all gone and end up more bugs and problems.
Your dream of PS5 Pro at most in the finalizing spec phase now, for release 2-3 years later. You get your PS5 easily liao then think about Pro. Next few years also not much enhancements, there's no need to have a Pro so fast, more likely they are working harder on getting a Slimmer version to reduce costs and increase production capacity, by reducing the SOC process node for better efficiency, higher yields and lower power draw for lower temps. The current PS5 is too pricey for Sony, that's why Digital sets are barely made, just to advertise that price point.
Of course Sony could also throw in 2GB of storage, but the current next-gen using the latest SSD which is still very expensive. Which apparently is a huge cost factor in the production costs. Will need a few more years for the prices to drop down to affordable range.
And 8K is useless. 4K with HDR and smooth 60FPS is the key. 8K is too much pixels to be pushed, with not much of visual enhancement if any at all to the perceivable eyes of humans.
