I registered my interest with a Sony store in Feb, been close to 8 months now and still nothing, fortunately I was able to get a ps5 from sony online drop

You try buying in Indonesia then you know what's called tough.

Ballot 10k ppl for less than 100 sets.

One month one batch. Until now probably less than 800 units so far, only 8 batches.

Sony was only able to make 10 million PS5s globally in the past 9 months due to shortages, in comparison PS4 has sold 115.2 million units.

Well they need to make x10 to satisfy the global demand.

If Sony allocated half of those unit sold to SG, we will all be happily with a PS5

PS5 sold more than PS4 within the 1st year.

So the production is "ok", nobody knew the demand would shoot up so much, production cannot just up last minute.

USA market bigger, they definitely get a bigger share, because their buying power also higher, more games purchases compared to other region.

Haha received a call from a gameshop asking whether i pre-ordered sometime back and asked whether i am interested in collecting one expected to arrive tomorrow.

Of course i said yes. Then i flipped it on Carousell for more than 50% profit of the PS5 disc editon cost price. Damn good to earn siol.

so the annivesary edition comes with ps4 and ps5 version with ps4 version as digital code. Can probably sell the ps4 code lol

I registered my interest at the sony store in April. When I called them this month they said they couldn't tell my queue number. Anyone else facing the same problem

Same here, i registered my interested on 2nd April and hopefully they call us by October .

yea. i went to Courts they said the same thing to me as well. by doing this + the long waiting list... i believe we will only get it by 2022. i registered with Sony on end of May. so i gave up and decided to go to a gameshop to place a deposit instead.

Just collected my disc ver from TOG PS, i cant even recall exactly when i filled up their PO form so unsure of the waiting time. Should be early this year

yea. they said must bundle with QLED tv.
