GOTY?

1st up, is that scoring actual? Seems too good to be true. Although generally good reviews all over the net.

Most of the reviews compare its open-world mechanics to Breath of Wild (which is my all time fav). Tempted to get this also, but very high chance I will regret considering I’ve never gotten the hang of the combat from previous Sekiro, Bloodbone, Demon Souls.

I was referring to the open-world (own time own target) sort of mechanics of BOTW. I recall the fun of BOTW was definitely figuring out how everything works and simply soaking in the environment. Side-track: I fondly remember shivering in the mountains, and suddenly found out that holding my flaming sword would help. So cool…..

Anyway, will give Eden Rings a shot. A lot of time now. Cyberpunk is good, but I find the combat bit ‘off’ despite a unique & immersive environment and storyline. Not starting Forbidden Horizon cos I never really found the original interesting… mech dinos & Aloy’s character did not appeal to me much.

For digital copies, can download already. But timer indicates that its only available to play in 23hrs time. So i guess its 1pm tomorrow (SG time).

Oddly even the pre-order bonus (Adventure Guide) cannot be played now .. must wait 23hrs.

ya lor, kena cheat feeling, went down shop to ask!
but sometimes gt early release one.
i believe some shops hv the game in store, but only release tomorrow bah.
coz last time i pre-ordered some games, can gt it 1 day earlier...
maybe those pre order gt notification frm shops to go down and to tk oredi

No rush to start playing ... afterall, this game is suppose to be a very long one.

I can’t find the pre order bonus adventure guide in my PS5 leh.

pre ordered the standard physical game from somerset sony store, meant to be sold on the 25th but they say the physical copies are delayed, anyone else heard of this?

I have never gotten any pre order earlier than its actual release date. Finally, tomorrow's the day - physical copy as usual. Elden Ring is going to be a long game.........prepare to die.
