Any good PC monitor to recommend for PS5 remote play? Prefer 32 37 inch :)
The new
LG C2 42" OLED TV

Someone has it on a desk as a PC Monitor and it doesn't look out of place. 4K, 120hz OLED with VRR support for future PS5 firmware!

On the other hand,

I got an old Gigabyte Aorus Gen 4 1TB SSD taken out from my PC, its the 5000 MB/s version...
I installed it onto my PS5 as 2nd storage. Copied Ghost of Tsushima and some PS4 games over...

(This is just for photo. Actual SSD has a heatsink taped on)

It did read speeds of 4093.441 MB/s. Able to load games quickly like its internal storage. Guess 7000mb/s drives aren't exactly needed.

dayum, still can’t believe that LG manufactured a 42” OLED TV. 42” is just nice for casual gaming. i’m still stuck with 55” LG CX since Jan 2021 lol

Actually, what's the matter in regards to the update on the upgrade paths?

They will be launching this June and I'm sure they will announce how you can upgrade within these two months. We (Asia) will likely be notified on it first anyways. We have yet to see the PS1, PS2, PSP games list they are offering also.

Let's wait patiently while we (over)indulge ourselves in what's currently available (like Elden Ring), shall we?

Exactly. They literally only just announced the first details. More will surely follow and of course there'll be an "upgrade path". They want your money.

Just remake the goddamn thing using RDR2 assets, visuals and gameplay as DLC. Maybe do some re-writings and re-recording of dialogues. It will sells.
It'll sell like gangbusters, no doubt.

Speaking of remakes, I'm looking forward to Resident Evil 4 Remake & The Last of Us PS5 Remake. Dead Space as well since I've never played the original.

Is there a 48/49inch version of this?

TBH, I don't think a remake of The Last of Us is necessary. The ps4 remastered still holds up. Played it not too long ago when I got the ps4 slim bundle, Can't wrap my mind around what their directions gonna take. Remaster a remaster? Rebuild from ground up? Retelling from ellie POV?
On the other hand, I'm more anticipating the HBO series.....

I used lg 48c1 and it works damn well. Love it. 42 would be more suitable as a pc monitor but 48 is fine if your viewing distance is ok.

Probably unnecessary, but a remake is very much welcome. Although not too old, its still a game from 2 generations ago. Demon's Souls & Dead Space also belong in PS3 era, both got PS5 remakes. (A better comparison is Shadow of the Colossus, spanning 3 consecutive console generation. Release on PS2, Remastered on PS3, Remake on PS4).

I expect the story to remain largely the same with no major retcon, but they may take some liberty & add new content or change certain things. Like an expanded section or new gameplay chapters that's not in the original.

Such as events within the 20 years gap after the prologue, more backstory focusing on Joel, Tommy & Tess. Or how Ellie met the Fireflies. Also show what happen between Pittsburgh & Jackson.

Add the updated combat & gameplay mechanics from TLOU2. Dodge mechanic, crawl, different takedown animations.

Graphics will look stunning as its a PS5 exclusive. Development won't be held back by the weaker PS4 hardware, no cross gen version.

Ghost of Tsushima PS4 Director's cut is on sale in app for $26.50. Is it worth getting it or the PS5 version to play on PS5?

I believed the 7000mb/s is for running ps5 games directly off internal secondary storage. If nv meet the spec, it will be treated like the external storage drive which can only play ps4 games and stored ps5 game as backup. Interested to know u are running ur GOT in what version when stored on the 2nd internal drive.

Incorrect.
