Would you pay $100 to play a version with much improved graphic but same gameplay.
TLOU is free on PS Plus Collection.
I'm just waiting for the price to drop in a few months and especially during holiday season. That or wait till it become PS Plus's next free game.
I've played the game more than 4 times from the original to the Remastered PS4 version and after TLoU2 and seeing that there's no new game coming out, I don't see what the rush is to get the updated skin version now for a ridiculous price which will quickly be cheap in a few months.
Patience is key here.
Now for GoW2 Ragnarok though... That is a new story and worth paying to finish the story that started with GoW1.
So again, look at whether you die-die need the game now because maybe you want to experience it again before its new game come out or something. Else, just wait till the price is right for you before you scoop it up.
But I highly recommend avoiding buying it now or it'll show Sony that it is alright to be lazy and charge ridiculous prices for a re-skinned game all because money talks and people are buying this game at such prices at launch even though it is a re-re-release. So there's that to think about as well. Do you want to buy it now so desperately where we risk Sony releasing remasters at this new unacceptable SG$100 price tag in the future with other old games as well? If not, then make sure they see that we consumers are not dumb enough to pay full price for an old re-skinned game.
