I'll buy both PS5 Pro & PS6If you view the current results of a poll at the end of the ign article, around 63.9% will wait for PS6 and 27.3% will buy a PS5 Pro.

yeah most people will let go their normal PS5s once they get a PS5 Pro (assuming they are in the group that wants to buy it).I'll buy both PS5 Pro & PS6
I've received confirmation from the game store that I'll indeed be getting Pro on day one. No need wait for 2nd batch (Preordered few weeks ago before official window open). The staff did mentioned that they won't have disc drive, no stock. I already anticipate this would happen, luckily managed to get my hands on one as seen in my previous post. I think some Pro users will be unable to play their physical disc games at launch. Disc Drive are hard to come by, always sold out. Probably snapped up by scalpers.
Previously sold OG PS4 when PS4 Pro came out. Sold PS4 Pro when I bought PS5. Will sell my PS5 very soon in 6 weeks time. Cycle will repeat again next-gen & I'll sell PS5 Pro once PS6 release, widely expected to be end of 2028.
Congratulations!I'll buy both PS5 Pro & PS6

The staff aren't my friends, though I'm a regular customer there. Whenever there's a new PlayStation on the horizon, I'll go to the store, pay deposit early, at least several months in advance to secure a launch set. I've never waited for official preorder date, have never preorder any consoles online & I've never dealt with scalpers. Just the old-fashioned way of simply walking in & preorder early. It works everytime.Congratulations!
Is the staff at the game store your friend? Quite exclusive as you PO before the official 26 Sep.
My thought on the series and part2...Can't wait for season 2 man. TLOU 2 is my favourite game of all time.
The discourse around this game was so weird then. I remember a friend who didn't have a playstation keep threatening to spoil the game for me and kept messaging everyday to ask my progress of the game. Every day he will text me "so do u want me to spoil for u?" "Shall I spoil for you?" "Have you reached that part yet? Are feeling angry??"
And another guy unfriended and blocked me and another mutual friend on Facebook because we both said we enjoyed the game a lot.
As with any adaptations or remake, you got to go in with an open mind. If you want to play the "purist", then the baggage is all yours to bear. There's a reason I don't look for gamers for film reviews. To indicate how good I think the HBO series is....I contributed to the sale spike of Part2 after the series ended.
If I have any nitpick criticism about the show, it would be to amp up the infected action just a tad bit.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I never like series dragging on(to it's grave), Thought TLOU part1 ended at a good spot, thought part2 ended at a right place.....T2 ended at judgement day...., Indiana Jones ended at the last crusade....
Since we're on the topic of TLOU, As mentioned, I completed TLOU part2 after season 1 of the HBO series has ended. I managed to avoid majorities of the spoilers so there were surprises in this brutal psychological and emotional dark journey. Other than Joel, Abby, Club, linked to Salt lake City(spoiled from HBO series discussions), I had no clue where the direction of part2 was going to be. I was even mislead by some fake thumbnails.
I would group part2 together with movies like Apocalypse Now and Requiem for a Dream. If you know, you know.(It's good sh!t!)
Shoutout to galliano, for his original review, laying it out very well though I don't agree on everything.
Overall, I think the game is great. Much better than I initially expect based on my old post. I don't remember giving TLOU remastered a score but I'd retrospectively give it a ~9/10. Part2 would be around the same. Will have to replay part1 to see which one edges out the other. For now part2 just slightly above.
I don't pay much attention to the recent rumors regarding TLOU. I think it's all mixed up with the multiplayer Factions 2 if it even slightly true.
Part3 if it happen, has got to be about Abby looking for Eille, the damaged loner, to make "her life mattered". Sick MFer Dr. Uckman will kill Eille in the end.
Now the question is... do you keep it sealed or open up and use it....TOG called me a while ago that I have been selected. Paid fully and 30th Anniversary DualSense secured!![]()
Update: Just talked to my wife about it. I have decided to keep it sealed and display within a case. Can join my LEGO NES.Now the question is... do you keep it sealed or open up and use it....![]()
Also, another major factor is that everything went up in price both locally and globally since 2020 due to covid19 so can't really blame Sony. The markup on PS5 Pro is less than 17% since US prices don't include sales tax which is dependent on the state it is sold in.
The markup for the disc drive is much worse ...

I also keep my consoles, PS1-4, all tucked nicely with boxes in the storeroom, with the games and all except PS3 in the games room etc. But I'll manage the space. It should not interfere with living. The only consoles I had sold are the Game Boy and Nintendo DS (OG). I'll keep my PS5 if I'm getting the Pro but I'm not getting it. They are momentos to me and I see the value in them. Of course to many, this is like "eh don't waste space lah" haha.I still have all my PS1 to PS4 consoles and games, even my 8-bit and 16-bit Sega & Nintendo consoles too. Even when I receive my PS5 Pro delivery in 6 weeks time, I will still keep my current PS5.
This is a bad habit of mine, I keep stuffs that I bought and now too many things in my house, and also my parent's house.![]()

I've sold most of my consoles like Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, PS1, Nintendo Game Boy, PS4 etc. Though still have PS2, PS3, PSP & PS Vita, haven't switch them on in years. Not sure whether they're still in working condition, kept away in storage collecting dust.I also keep my consoles, PS1-4, all tucked nicely with boxes in the storeroom, with the games and all except PS3 in the games room etc. But I'll manage the space.
