Haha, I'm so old when I go do "number 2" I had to go out the house, go to the back where there is an outhouse and do businese there. Then every once in a while someone on bicycle will come and clear the big metal bin of "solid waste".

I remembered once when I was doing my business, saw a hand pulling the bin below away, apparently the person come to clear the bin while I was still doing business, didn't bother to check anyone is in the outhouse.

Shitting outside house is kampong style, i only did it when i was in msia when i was very young. Need to boil water for take hot shower, and in vintage dragon porcelain water pot, at night must use mosquito repellent coil and net, else will kena bitten whole night

There's a period where arcade centers were banned? Never was a big arcade center chiongsters. Never good at them. But I fondly remember Afterburner in my secondary school days. Enjoyed playing Macross.(arcade game)

As I said here before, I don't grew up console gaming. I was more of a casual computer/PC gamer.

For those who don't know, Yaohan was a Japanese departmental store. Beside Parkway, there's one at Thomson, and another one at Jurong.(town area should have also, but I can't remember...)

Will keep a lookout for disc drive. If I chance upon any available stocks in the coming weeks, I'll buy 1 or 2 sets immediately, before it goes into the hands of scalpers.

Priority goes to @ronnlim. However if by then, he already got it from elsewhere & nobody here wants it, I'll just sell it on Carousell instead. At retail price of course ($159)

It's interesting Konami picked the 3rd mainline game to remake first. Though it makes sense as chronologically, Snake Eater is the first in the timeline (Set in 1960's). Perfect entry point for new players who had never played MGS.

Legendary franchise, among my all-time fav. Great cast of characters & story, though it can get convoluted & self-indulgent (especially the long cinematic cutscenes), a trademark of Hideo Kojima. Controls & the fixed camera angle are very dated though, which will be improved & modernised in the remake.

I've always preferred the Solid Snake games though, compared to Big Boss/Naked Snake.

If memory serves me right, I think Ocelot is the only character in the entire series to appear in all the main games MGS1 - 5 (Excluding PW & GZ). Double-crossing son of a gun.

Wonder if they'll do Peace Walker next, or jump straight to remakes of 1, 2 & 4.

On a related note, if you guys own a physical game and noticed the same game is now heavily discounted on PSN would you repurchase the digital version again, assuming you have not complete the game?

I have some physical games and I actually repurchased certain games when I saw them heavily discounted as more convenient to just powerup system to play than finding the disc, insert disc to launch game etc.

me will just continue to play using physical disc. finish then sell the physical disc.

For now, at least. That situation might change once Sony announce the release date of PS5 Pro in Indonesia. Disc Drive will fly off the shelves then.

Currently for SEA region, I think only Singapore & Malaysia are getting it on launch day 7 Nov (Though I could be wrong about this, not up to date on latest info).

I got Witcher 3 Complete Edition (PS4), which comes with both story DLC. Includes free upgrade to PS5 version.

Bought the disc a few years back for $25, haven't start the game yet. Saw that it's on sale, currently around $17 on PS Store. Some might be swayed, but I'm not tempted at all by the low price. Not interested to buy digital version.

I'll still keep the disc, can sell it anytime if the game's not for me. Can't do that with digital version.

That's just one example, and also applies to all the other games in my collection as well. Regularly discounted on PS Store but I didn't buy it, prefer physical disc.
