Till now silent hill 2 has no ps5 pro patch yet, but already put “ps5 pro enhanced” label on ps5 pro release day. Really misleading

If you can wait a bit for the disc drive you can try calling the Sony stores. I placed a full deposit last Friday with the Holland Village outlet to secure a unit. Stock expected to arrive in mid-December.

Thanks! Managed to do so at the HV outlet. ETA end Dec for me.

Maybe got hiccup in the update?

I previously worked in the computer/software/multimedia industry, and sometimes marketing side push for/announced a product or software release date but development side still finalizing on code and troubeshooting etc and could miss the deadline set by the former.

I'll hold off on buying until the performance issues & input latency are fix/improve.

Didn't buy digital version as I'm waiting for physical disc, and have no problem with waiting further until there's a Pro update.

there has never been any region lock on PS5 games, its just the redemption of codes or future DLCs that will be locked to the region's PSN account

I bought the physical copy on 11.11 ($28.80 after voucher) but am refusing to play until I get my hands on the Pro.. and the disc drive. Gonna be a long wait.

That said, I received a tracking number. It says "This shipment is on its way." Means shipped out with courier?

Performance Pro Mode in SM2 is the way to go (Or Fidelity Pro for 120Hz VRR display). You made the right call by waiting to experience the game at it's best.

If you have PS+ Extra subscription, there's quite a number of Pro Enhanced games on the Catalog including TLOU 1 Remake, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Demon's Souls etc. Those games should tide you over until disc drive arrive.

Started playing Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster and noticed they totally removed the Job system, i.e. now any character can have any skills, use any weapons etc, totally no individuality.

Plus no character level up indication at all, it would just randomly increases HP or MP max after a set unknown number of battles.

The first game I plat without checking internet for walkthroughs, guides, hints etc but now this one I'm not sure, the style is totally different.

I booted up Demon's Souls (now ng+) and it is still holding up very well on the base PS5 after 4 years. Then on the PS5 Pro........needless to say already....
