Those with the Pro, how are your experiences thus far and which of the Pro enhanced games did you all play?

For me yet to play any PS5 Pro enhanced games, think I will first utilize the enhancements on standard PS4 games as I've got quite a big backlog to play through.

Not sure is it just me but the UI navigation seems slightly snappier than my fat PS5, could be due to the added RAM & more efficient CPU?

So far I tried silent hill 2 and stopped immediately cos of no patch, no improvement. Then I played HZD remastered. It’s quite good but I never played on normal PS5 to compare with. Will continue spider man 2 after this anyway and see the difference.

While we are enjoying our Pro, youtube channels like digital foundry is uploading videos to stir up all the fan boy wars with the latest one on why Pro games aren't 45% faster, guess they must have missed the memo explaining the meaning of "up to". 😅

It gives more fuel to fan boys (anti-fan boys?) to complain more on the Pro, like they already did in ALL videos related to the PS5 Pro.

Maybe from all the xbox fans jelly MS ditched their console and go all platforms?

Anything bad about PS5 or Sony = stirring wars.

Cannot say bad things one, you better not say anything negative about the flawless PS5 Pro ya, if not means you Xbox fanboy.

Cool down, bro, take it slowly, no one killed your cat, okey. 😅

No one said the PS5 Pro is flawless, it definitely had pros and cons. It's the way those 5 year olds arguing about it that is seriously CMI.

Anyway, back to healthy discussions! 😀

I'm glad there's tech outlets like Digital Foundry & NX Gamer doing these analysis & deep dive into the game's performance. Expose the truth of the bad/lazy optimization of some devs. When a game run worse on the superior machine, it's entirely the dev fault - a skill issue (or lack thereof) of implementing PSSR. Highlighting performance issues to the masses is a good way to bring awareness, and in turn, put pressure on the devs to fix their game.

Only fanboys would pretend there's no issue & game run/look great. For Silent Hill 2, a Bloober dev has come out & acknowledged the issue, so a Pro update is incoming.

It reminds me of FF7 Rebirth at launch. Looks bad & blurry in Performance Mode, but hardcore & biased FF fans are having none of it & claimed it looks fine with no issues. They can't accept any valid criticism against their favorite game & vehemently defend it at all cost 🤡
