Phil Spencer being ambiguous & vague whether future Bethesda games will release on platforms outside of their ecosystem. Seems like 50/50. Multiplatform, timed exclusive or full exclusive. No definite answer as of now. Have to wait & see.

Excerpt taken from the article:

“Is it possible to recoup a $7.5 billion investment if you don’t sell Elder Scrolls VI on the PlayStation?” I asked.

Yes,” Spencer quickly replied.

Then he paused.

“I don’t want to be flip about that,” he added. “This deal was not done to take games away from another player base like that. Nowhere in the documentation that we put together was: ‘How do we keep other players from playing these games?’ We want more people to be able to play games, not fewer people to be able to go play games.

But I’ll also say in the model—I’m just answering directly the question that you had—when I think about where people are going to be playing and the number of devices that we had, and we have xCloud and PC and Game Pass and our console base, I don’t have to go ship those games on any other platform other than the platforms that we support in order to kind of make the deal work for us. Whatever that means.”

HN just refunded me. Although, it stated 7 to 14 days to get refunded, my refund just took less than 2 days to process.

just ignore the payment, they will go by lottery and contact you if u gotten the draw

Yea, and they also did mentioned don't keep your hope too high as the chance is as low as 3% based on their statistics.. lol

Btw, riding on the pre-order hype train yesterday, also did a pre-order of dual sense controller from challenger which is now finally available, offset the total amount using the rebate earned for previous pre-order of PS5.

Called sony up as i preorder from sony store on the 1st wave for Dec batch. They mentioned that we will only collect on Nov launch day if they called you up and allocate extra stock to you (if any). CALL, NOT MSG. High chance is still in Dec 😔

Sounds very unfair if 2nd wave preorder from retailers are able to get on launch day. Defeats a preorder purpose

The percentage may be even lower as I can imagine many folks trying with multiple accounts/phone numbers :s22:

How come yours is $10? Shouldn't it be $20?

Mine is also $10, and there is $7 rebate or sort that can be offset when collect PS 5 and if birthday month, it will be double as what they explain to me. So basically the member fee is $3.

If I'm not wrong, normal sign up is $20 but you will receive $10 voucher.

Yes is reflected in the membership if you log in.

$10 to secure a PS5 on launch day seems fair to me compare buying from scalpers

$10/$20 to sign up for membership is not that bad but given that it was informed upfront when placing the pre-order like e.g. Challenger.

Trying to upsell their membership just to be prioritize for the launch day stock after pre-order deposit is placed like couple of weeks later just doesn't feel ethical. :vijayadmin:
