Sony released statement last week that there will not be any stocks for walk in customers.

It will be bad publicity for them to promote crowd gathering during a pandemic. During the 2nd wave of stock release, a Sony staff told me that any additional stocks will only be given to people on their waiting list. Take a few minutes to read the last few pages of the thread, there are some brothers here got a call to head down and place their deposit during the 2nd wave.

Had a call from Sony this morning. About the PS5 ... for a second I thought some delay ... but was to arrange timing for collection on the 19th.

Hmm not sure if there is an online waiting list. You should call up any of the Sony stores, inform them that you want to buy the PS5, and they will take your details down for the waiting list.

I called the Nex outlet back when pre-orders were first announced. I even got a call-back from them when the 2nd wave of pre-orders opened. Since then I haven't talked to them, not sure if the policy has changed since then.

Not sure if it helps but it seems like the Clementi store not featured under the list of PS retail stores? Maybe can try other stores listed here instead and check if they do have the waiting list for PS5s?

Its under sony centres. Not the same type of store you would see in malls.

Ah yes I called nex and got onto the waitlist. They told me that my position is around 200+ so will be a few months. Hmmm...
