You won't be able to launch the game after the refund. It will have a lock icon on it.

I think it's best to just keep the game... Wait for future update from the dev in Jan or Feb.. To solve the bugs.. Graphics won't likely match pc. That will likely be optimized later for next Gen ps5 & Xbox. Plus cdpr already promised free upgrade to next-gen.

The game was really meant for next Gen & pc.. I think it would have probably need more work.. But the toxic fans keep complaining. So the Dev just release a half ass game. Haha

I think this serves as a wake up call for other game studios. To release complete games & don't over promise. I am quite surprised that Sony did not test out the ps4 version before giving it a go ahead on their platform. I guess Sony got conned as well

It’s not Sony or Microsoft fault that CD release a half optimized game. If anything it is CD who knew and yet still release so you will buy first and they fix later

https://screenrant.com/cyberpunk-2077-ps4-xbox-one-certification-microsoft-sony/

Industry veteran Rami Ismail recently explained why on Twitter (thanks, PlayStation Lifestyle). In a lengthy thread, which couldn't go into too many specifics due to prohibiting industry contracts, Ismail what Certification (Cert) involves. Cert, Ismail clarified, does not guarantee games are of a high quality or void of glitches. Rather, Cert is a process that "ensures games do not brick [consoles] or disable critical functionality." When a developer submits a game through this process, Microsoft and Sony look for issues that guarantee the title won't break trademarks and so on. Ismail provided a few examples in a subsequent tweet, explaining, "Certification is stuff like 'don't render critical stuff off-screen,' 'display warnings if your internet connection is lost.'" It does not check for texture pop-ins, randomly floating objects, or bizarre driving glitches. Thus, a game passes Certification when it meets a long list of criteria, even if it's riddled with immersion-breaking glitches.

Thanks for the insight. I guess maybe the certification criteria needs a major revision.
