Knn just make Cyberpunk 2077 work on next gen consoles only and make it a PS5 game, not PS4 game since the main issue is those using original PS4 and having issues.

Easiest. Should stop developing games on old consoles and ensuring compatibility on them. Waste of time, effort and money.

Cyberpunk is actually cater for PS4/Xbox one Gen in mind but halfway down the road, seems like they not able optimize it for the older hardware in time but their mgmt still want to push it out as to grab all the sales & $$,thus the huge mess it is causing now.

Anyway i tested the PS4 game bc in PS5 previously. The downgrade in graphic as compare to it running on my 5700XT is really cmi thus will shelve it till PS5 version w RT etc come out which sad to say prehaps not anytime soon.

you know why ? its certainly not "care" for those who own the old consoles but the most simplest reason of all time.

I think it's best to just keep the game... Wait for future update from the dev in Jan or Feb.. To solve the bugs.. Graphics won't likely match pc. That will likely be optimized later for next Gen ps5 & Xbox. Plus cdpr already promised free upgrade to next-gen.

Refund first, buy again later once the bugs are fixed with a price drop.

There's no guarantee they can fix the bugs in a reasonable time frame.

At least you refund now, get back your money guaranteed.

new stocks are coming on 24 dec for collection in alot of retail stores / deliveries.

However these are preordered, so technically u cant buy any of it now except from resellers in carousel at above retail prices due to demand > supply.

Otherwise just wait till next year for more stocks.

Difference is the code and console gen.

I placed the order in Amazon but then the resale will be slightly difficult due to PS5.

Cyberpunk has mostly positive review on Steam simply because it runs better on PC what they don't tell you is the gameplay and story is completely unfinished and broken

90% of the story mechanics/choices has zero impact. All the fantastic characters you see does not gel in the universe in anyway. The combat, crafting and hacking are seriously laughable once do it a few times. Just imagine you have a pair of legendary shorts that have better stats than an amoured suit.

The only perfect score for cyberpunk is the coolness and designs of the world.

romance options are lacking too...

if you play straight male V, technically you only have one romance option.

I'm spoiled by Bioware romance options

The most infuriating part is how they kept promoting the game like it's got everything covered. Should have just stick with an action adventure game in the first place.
