PS5 Pro in the house!

Data transfer from OG to Pro surprisingly fast & easy.

The console is also quite Abit lighter than the base OG PS5.

Now I am waiting for china third parties to come up with black plates for the pro!

Yeah, I had this problem, and had on-off issues connecting to WiFi when I was setting up (I'm on VQ 10 Gbps and Deco BE85 with WiFi 7). Some of the numbers looked strange when I tested (had less than 100 MBPs at one point for both download/upload!). I've got the Pro hooked up via Ethernet now.

Lucky i set all my devices network using wire in living room to reduce wireless interference, due to my wireless home theatre speakers setup, ht-a9 m2.

Managed to finish and plat Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster 2 days ago.

For a FF fan I have not actually played the first few games back when it was released, only started with FF VI and then FF V and then the famous FF VII onwards.

Playing the original game now in Pixel Remaster form makes me realized how difficult the game was back then, i.e. constant random encounters, no auto mappings, tedious boss fights, no google search for clues when stuck etc.

Now to proceed with FF II!

For accessories like controller n disc drive, u need to keep the box n receipt to claim warranty. U can’t register them online

2. Am also waiting for third party or original PS5 PRO console black covers

3. The SSD slot can support up to how big capacity?

1. U mean PSSR? Not sure how to check that. Now only if the game patched, there’s an option with ended with “PRO” usually.

4. Yup, normally to store n run ps4 games or as backup for ps5 games. You need to format it for the first time used by ps4 / ps5.

3. Using WD Black SN850X 8TB on my Pro now, no problem.

4. My Pro is connected to the WD Black 5TB USB HDD for PS4 games, also no problem.

For both, it will prompt to format first before using.

A few bucks more expensive than the PS5 Pro after including shipping, currency exchange & GST, bought from Amazon.com. Probably can get cheaper like $900+/- if wait for the upcoming Black Friday sale, but I no patience.

This model is slightly cheaper than the SN850P with Playstation branding, other than that I believe they're practically the same.
