It's better to keep low expectations, so you won't be disappointed. I doubt there's any major plans for 2025. At most, Sony will probably giveaway a Hunter PSN Avatar to commemorate Bloodborne 10th Anniversary 🤣

However with that said, and this is just speculation on my part, my guess is development for Bloodborne Remake (not remaster) is already underway, at least in the early stage. It's a Sony-owned IP & they definitely must've seen the numerous fan demand & calls for a new, upgraded version.

I can see it releasing as a PS6 launch title & console exclusive (not on PS5), so at least 4 years away in 2028. Killer app for early adopters at launch & a major selling point for current players to upgrade to new hardware.

Obvious candidate would be Bluepoint, which helmed excellent ground-up remakes of revered PlayStation classics under their belt - Shadow of the Colossus & Demon's Souls.

Hidetaki Miyazaki's interview earlier this year seems to suggest he knew a remake is in the works at Sony, but can't say anything about it, presumably due to NDA. If there's anyone outside of Sony who knows of any Bloodborne-related project in development, it's probably him.

Ohh no... I am keeping expectations high high! If Sony don't have any event to drive the buzz and hype for the 2nd half of this gen, I'm jumping ship to xbox.

The games will definitely come, longtime fans can attest to that. As history has shown, 2nd half of PlayStation is usually much stronger than the 1st. From Uncharted 1 to The Last of Us (PS3), Infamous: Second Son to Ghost of Tsushima (PS4), that's where generation-defining games are released.

Can't wait to see the latter half of PS5, I'm confident there'll be spectacular & landmark games.

With the year coming to an end, what are your most anticipated 2025 games?

On my radar is GTA VI, Ghost of Yōtei, Death Stranding 2 & MGS Delta: SE. Also hope to see what Naughty Dog has been cooking all this time (finally!), as well as Insomniac's rumored Venom game.

It's been almost a year since GTA VI were announced. I wonder when will Trailer 2 drop? Would be nice to get confirmation on release date & gameplay footage.

Yotei (I wanna play it in the punishing Lethal Mode, like GoT) & MGS Delta, definitely.

I gave DS a 2nd chance this year and invested another 30 hours in it but I just.....cannot lah....it's indeed beautiful, really well made and got that feeling of being alone in the world and connecting everyone, which I don't think other games can offer. But gameplay wise, I lose interest along the way.

Then, awaiting more info on
- Lies of P DLC
- BM Wukong DLC

Naughty Dog's new game - sci-fi open world......really wonder what it's going to be. I have high expectations of its plot.

And...........BLOOOOODBOOOORNE.... 😂

Last of Us 1. Good.

Last of Us 2. Couldn't get into it due to woke ideology insertion for no real reason.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course. There's no right or wrong opinion. It's important to note that no single game is for everyone. All games will have some who love it, while others won't. That's perfectly normal. The world would be a boring place if everyone agree or like the same thing.

However game has been out for over 4 years. It's like beating a dead horse at this point. You just can't get over it, I suppose?

I've completed Part 1 multiple times, and Part 2 once. Can easily say both are great, memorable experiences that live long in memory after I've completed them. Not perfect of course, no game is. But it's as good as any I've seen in this medium - great characters, compelling narrative, cutting-edge graphics, brilliant animation work, soundtrack etc. A captivating journey from beginning to end.

I've never cared about the whole 'woke vs no woke' debate. If a game looks good & fun to play, I'm in. Can't speak for others as everyone is different, but while playing & being fully immersed in the game world, the thought of 'woke/no woke' has never cross my mind, not even once.

If a game's not for me, I'll drop it without any complain/whining, and move on to other games that's more my cup of tea, simple as that. Life's too short to waste time/energy on things you don't enjoy doing.

Whether it’s what’s going on with politics around the world or an amplification by social media, people are digging in on their beliefs and biases. Which is what it is and fair enough. To me, it’s just a shame that some gamers prevent themselves from enjoying what a well-crafted game offers, because of certain beliefs. Personally, I don’t find TLOU2 that “woke”. The relationship between Ellie and Dina is just part of the story and an interesting dynamic; I didn’t walk away from the game thinking it was shoving LGBTQ+ rights down my throat.

i think what Deathshadow is saying is.......

you are indeed entitled to your opinion....but if said opinion continues to haunt you and imbue negative emotions and vibes out of you (clearly you are still angry about it after so many years), then truly having said opinion is only just taking a toil on no one else but yourself.

I never like the Call of duty & FIFA games. If you search my post history, other than this post itself, i've never mention COD or FIFA ever even though those games are always the best selling title of the year....because things i don't like, i just move on from it and focus on the things i like instead.

you really can make up so many imaginary details from my one sentence.
You sure its not you all having your own life/mental problems?

I literally typed one short sentence and you all can type essays about what you assume to be my definitive mental state? Don't kid yourselves lah.
