Do u all think the market is over value at the moment?
Risk seems to increase esp with reit

Be very careful when treading on the high pricing especially REITs.

No doubt some increase is attributed to the returns, I suspect quite a fair portion are due to herd mentality. Not sure when it may burst.

Yes that's what I think too.
I think if economy worsen, reit will fall hard and fast.

Just like apple stock.

lol been holding Lippo for I think a year liao, it has always been trading below NAV, it still is anyway

I am a newbie in investing stock. Pls bear with my noob questions. I was reading the LippoMalls Q1 2013 financial report, there are something that i can't think through.

First, how do we compute earning per unit? Can I take Net Property Income divided by total unit issued?

Second, the Earning Per unit of this trust is 0.86 cents, I wondering how come the DPU can exceed this EPU?

Third, what is meant by total comprehensive income for the period?

I hope any Sifu here can shed me a light.

It is perfectly ok for DPU to be higher than EPS because the REIT might have divested a property hence making money from it, then distributing the loots amongst shareholders.
