power saver mode disables 5g
Definitely not on power saver mode. Heh. I checked all the usual.

Likely it's a coverage issue. But we were at Paya Lebar at the malls area and also didn't receive 5G, so I was curious.

So far all telcos are raising its prices due to GST increase. Only good guy Simba keeping its prices since the start.
Good for consumer, bad for business.
All telco are also keeping its price, its the garment that are placing a hefty 9% tax on their people. This is really very, very bad !!!

yeah. Simba absorbing it since they customer base isn't big enough to cost them. They took the risk to not lose their customers.

Also as simba billingis different from other telco, it's very hard to top up $10.10 if they increase the price. They rather get it fixed $10. Park the GST increase into other components *coughs. standby. It has to go somewhere

I hope Seniors Plan continues with current $5/month when SIMBA reviews this plan in Nov 2024.
Hope so, that's their winning strategy, other plans out there so expensive

I suspect as much it was SIMBA's accounting difficulty having to deal with this 1% 😂

IMO not sustainable in the long run. It may suggest SIMBA is just waiting to be bought up by a competitor. Their coverage isn't going to drastically improve their competition tho.

hello...

hugh thread here...

I just got passed a TPG/SAMBA SIM-only 100GB sim card.

From my understanding is that, it has only 100GB of data and 1GB for international roaming.

Can it make normal IDD and local call? not whatsapp call, but the traditional calling style?

The plan details is in the PDF. Calls to local mobile number is free, only calls to landline will use up the 300 minutes.
Idd call will be deducted from account wallet.
