Request CSO to send new service agreement and just received and has checked; extension to Aug28 and local data 340GB; free caller ID and Malaysia roaming removed.

Hmm, no free caller ID, so have to pay extra $5.09 for caller ID?

Indeed, free Caller ID should be extended to August 2028 as well along with free 5G access and the S$15.28 pricing, based on my experience and the reports from others.

The following should be correct.
The other 3 lines shows added on of 300GB Local data… only 5G service and Caller ID shows extension to 2028.

Really do not understand the actions by SingTel with regard to the S$15.28 plan since similar special recontract offers have been there since at least Dec 2019 (S$25 per month or S$20 per month at that time).

On one hand, they gave extension to many existing users without informing the users in August 2026 (but not extending the 50GB Malaysia Roaming Data).
After query with SingTel using WhatsApp for this 3 lines why these shows extension to Aug28. They mentioned this is promotional offer and is system generated.

On the other hand, they started to reject the recontract order in August 2026 and September 2026. Then later some users seem to be able to negotiate with SingTel to get it.

No idea what they are trying to do. It seems they have different opinions about the S$15.28 plan internally.

Maybe some Singtel Mobile executives want to get rid of this outlier S$15.28 recontract offer plan and push users to the S$20.37 plan or maybe the S$19.25 Enhanced Lite plan.

just to share, today i walked into a SingTel exclusive retailer shop in the East since there was no queue, and had a chat w one of the customer service officer. This was what he shared:

1. Like what @xiaofan has shared in the earlier posts, 5G sim card or 5G+ physical sim card does not matter. Both sim cards allow for 5G+ usage. The service officer check backend and confirmed this.

2. 15.28/mth plan is SIM Only Plus 30 plan. It is a 4G base plan with 5G add on. The enhanced Lite, core, priority plans are native 5G plans. Asked him what is the difference, he mentioned briefly that at the end of the day, it's all 5G plans with different network priorities.

On point 2, my guess is that eventually the 15.28/mth plan will go away given that it is a 4G base plan?

As I understand from the CSO, we were rejected because it was on a CIS plan and you need to get out of the CIS scheme before you can apply for these plans. I did for my dad the $6 senior plan and it was only after calling them that we found out the repeated rejections were due to the previous 15.28 plan being a CIS plan.
Hi, I have one line which is 15.28 plan but show how the agreement indicates it’s a CIS plan and that is why I did not get the extension offer to 2028 from SingTel like my other 3 lines that subscribed at the same time in 2025.
Did you manage to get it signed up for 15.28 plan after taking to CSO?
Thanks

Thanks for the updates. My second line will be the same as you (340GB local data without Malaysia Roaming data) since the recontract got rejected.

Looks like they are really pushing Singtel S$15.28 plan users to upgrade to the S$19.25 Enhanced Lite plan, or go with the S$20.37 plan (higher price but the same benefits as the S$15.28 plan).

Some users may indeed upgrade to the S$19.25 plan. It makes no sense to go with the S$20.37 plan though.

Somehow they never send me the S$19.25 offer (I am not really interested though), but keep sending me the S$20.37 plan using SMS or MySingTel app notification.

Should have no issues with the latest service agreement.

So you can continue with this plan unless you decide to change, for example, you want to get Malaysia Roaming data because of RTS Link which is expected to begin passenger service in Feb 2027.

lol. once SingTel realized that pushing folks from the $15.28 to the $19 and $20 plan would make them jump mobile operators, they would soon revert back to the $15 bugs plan.

look at what happened with the $6 senior SIM Only plan, initially it started off as one year contract with some national day promo at $6 for senior, 1 year contract.
then they bumped it up to $12. printed advertisements and all, put outside Singtel shop.
Less than 2 months, people jumped ship and all already, need to revert back to $6 and no contract somemore lol.

the $15 is gonna be back soon already.

Chatted about pricing for the iPhone 18 series at Singtel's 313 Somerset roadshow. Both promoters I spoke to seem to be pushing the Enhanced S plan quite hard.

They did not seem to be keen on pushing the Priority L plan that was plastered all over the booth.

The marketing style was more usage based rather than focusing on the total cost or upfront cost.

Anyone has insights into this?

Originally subscribed for $14 SGD before GST, but somehow got automatically subscribed to DataRoam Malaysia for $16 SGD — an add-on that costs even more than my original subscription. 😩

This is already the 2nd month I’m being charged $16, despite not using the service.

Haiz… there’s always some extra charge with Singtel. If I wasn’t shocked by the extra charge, I wouldn’t have gone looking for how to remove this add-on.

Check whether you have the old "DataRoam Malaysia Monthly (6GB)" not removed after your recontract of the S$15.28 Singtel SIM Only plan.

Contact Singtel for the fee waiver.

My post in this thread on 20 August 2026.
I did not noticed that the older "DataRoam Malaysia Monthly (6GB)" add-on was still effective in the new recontract. I only noticed yesterday after receiving the latest bill as there is a charge of S$16.

Just contacted SingTel to get it waived.

So whenever you sign up or recontract a SingTel service (mobile, Fibre Internet, TV), make sure you review the add-ons and cancel those not necessary ones immediately.

BTW, the 50GB Malaysia Roaming data is called "Bundled Roaming Malaysia (50GB) 12 months".

********
Hi Sir. As checked, we can now proceed to waive DataRoam Malaysia Monthly (6GB) $16.00 on your number -xxxx. In future, may check your Service Agreement so you can remove the add ons on or before promo end date to avoid incurring future charges.

Haha, most of the users here are using Singtel SIM Only plan (12 months contract or no contract) and not the Phone Plans (24 month contract plan with device).
https://shop.singtel.com/plans?group=phone-plans&offer_mode=NORM

I am not sure if there are SIngtl SIM Only plan users here use SingTel PayLater to buy mobile phones using installment.

For the phone plans, I tend to think Enhanced S and Enhanced XS plan will be more popular compared to others. Priority L plan is just too expensive.

Just wondering if the L plan makes sense if you share it with your family member? I recall the priority plan has got an additional line or sth...

Priority L plan does not qualify. Only Priority Pro and Priority Fam plan are qualified.

https://shop.singtel.com/plans?group=phone-plans&offer_mode=NORM

Priority Pro
1 additional mobile line that shares your plan's local data, talktime, SMS and Worldwide Roaming (up to 18GB)

Priority Fam
3 additional mobile lines that shares your plan's local data, talktime, SMS and Worldwide Roaming (up to 18GB)

I took the $19 plan after not able to renew the $15 one. I even ported out to a cheaper plan and back to SingTel.

So you are able to get the good no-contract SingTel 5G+ Enhanced Lite plan at S$19.25? If yes, that is actually a very good one.

Targeted no contract offer for ex-SingTel customers. YMMV.
