12mths free Caller ID stated in the promotion banner.
"Includes 1,000 mins, 500 SMS, FREE 8GB ReadyRoam Neighbours and 12 FREE months of Caller ID. Plus, get up to $600 cashback when you opt for a device! T&Cs apply."
Roaming is one time, better than nothing at least compared to the rest.
Hoping for permanent roaming data every month

Hello, created an account to enquire if anyone suffers from the same experience as I did for the past few months:

Currently on SingTel SIM ONLY+ 45 for the past 8 months
Using iPhone 15 PM

I frequently experience sudden 5G signal loss in MRT tunnels, particularly on the East-West Line (EWL) stretch between Outram Park and Lavender, and on the Circle Line (CCL). It seems Singtel may have recently activated their 5G service on the CCL, as I've been receiving 5G signals there lately. However, the most significant issue occurs on the EWL underground stretch from Outram Park to Lavender, where I experience a sudden loss of 5G NSA. Despite trying to toggle between 5G SA, 5G On, and 5G Auto, the signal often drops to 3G or, worse, no service at all. This is concerning, especially if Singtel discontinues their 3G service, as it would result in no connectivity. Interestingly, when I use my $8 eight service, I still receive 4G signals, which is surprising given that I pay over $30 for Singtel's "premium SIM-only service", yet my MVNO service performs better. I have communicated my concerns to Singtel via WhatsApp, and this was their response:

"SingTel is working with SMRT and the other mobile operators to enhance the coverage in MRT tunnels and stations. The mobile infrastructure in tunnels and stations is SHARED AMONGST THE OPERATORS."

If it is shared, then why is my $8 MVNO service getting at least 4G signals while my MNO "Premium" SIM Only service is getting 3G or no service? Might as well jump to GOMO, at least we are paying lesser for the quality of service we should expect?

Hoping to get some thoughts from likeminded people on this forum and whether there are any better alternatives.

EW tunnel is well known problem. I have already ported out from singtel gomo precisely for this problem.
M1 Maxx and eight, both may slow down, but no connection drop aka "full bar no data" which requires toggling aircraft mode or even phone reset, no "no signal" problem either.

i had no problems in circle line while using gomo and singtel postpaid (weekly travel from telok blangah to hougang in the afternoon weekend peak hour).

Means this plan (Get 200GB at $20.37/mth with FREE 12 mths of 5G access!) is the most worthwhile isn't it.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlyplus-form

Take note it is "200GB of data (for first 6 months), 100GB of data thereafter"
Within two promotion links with no CIS in the URL (for non-CIS customers?) yes this is the better one. The other one is worse (100GB across, but in reality same for me).
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlycampaign-form

Then you can argue which one is better for the following two promotion links with CIS in the URL (for SIngtel CIS customers who want to give up CIS status?).
1) 150GB across for 12months.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/ciscampaign-form
2) 200GB for first 6 months and 100GB after that.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/cis-campaignform

These two links have a note:
"- Upon agreement to change your existing plan to this offer, your CIS status will no longer be valid."

200GB for the first 6 month and then 100GB after that. Yes now it has more data than previous offers (100GB 5G data for first 3 months, 60GB 4G data after that)
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlyplus-form

The following offer has 100GB across 12 months.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlycampaign-form

The following two recontract offer plan are new to me, first posted by obedwgy recently.
1) 150GB across for 12months.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/ciscampaign-form
2) 200GB for first 6 months and 100GB after that.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/cis-campaignform
It is a bit strange that the above two links have CIS in the name but say the existing CIS benefits will be gone.
"- Upon agreement to change your existing plan to this offer, your CIS status will no longer be valid."

Last time the first two links do not apply to CIS customers. Now they seem to allow CIS customers but add the terms and conditions.
No idea why these $20.37/mth CIS SIM ONLY plan existing, literally no difference from the normal SIM ONLY for recontract, SingTel should just remove it, so lame and confusing.

Add on under non CIS section for those who do not want to have 200GB first 6 months buillshit then drop to 100GB at $20.37.

150GB across for 12 months at $20.37.

Now for 12 months, we have “200GB”, 150GB and 100GB plan for non CIS SIM ONLY recontract that has no difference compared to “CIS SIM ONLY” at $20.37/mth as all come with free Caller ID. 🤣🤣🤣

“200GB”: end with simonlyplus-form
150GB: end with simonlyoffers
100GB: simonlycampaign-form

I am a victim of this problem with Singtel. It has been for years now. Initially no one, including my friends believed me.

Nothing wrong with me on StarHub and M1 so far.

Try the free 1 month trail since 20 aug. Mix feeling so far. Sometimes 5G can be worse den 4G. Earlier on at home, the 5G suddenly cut off by itself for a few seconds when I book for Grab.

Didnt have the chance to play with it at my usual work route since these 2 weeks is ICT weeks. Will update soon

Thanks for writing this. I'm also thinking about trying out singtel with the 1 month free. I have used zym 5G NSA, and it's wonky at times inside mrt tunnels which I always use (NEL and EWL). I have friends using singtel too and also facing issues too. Now having second thoughts.

I previously used M1 5G SA before switching to eight. I'm actually quite impressed with their 5G SA, much better than their 4G. They are sharing their SA with Starhub. Underground tunnels surfing is pretty stable during peak hours. 5G SA is pretty improved over the years. I'm intending to switch back soon from eight

But in MRT underground there is no 5G right? I use CL 5G before, I only managed to get 4G

Singtel free one month e-SIM trial. You can port your number or sign up a new number.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/sop-esim

Then after that, try you luck on the good S$20.37 Singtel SIM Only recontract links.
NO GUARANTEE that Singtel will accept your order though. YMMV.

First two links for non-CIS. Last two links for CIS.

Noticed this free one Month trial in the T&C, it states 1 month commitment. Meaning, I cannot port out within 30 to 31 days.

Then if I'm done testing and port out on 32nd day, and decided not to sign any contract, they didn't say the cost, only state $30 /mth with contract thereafter.

Anyone with singtel knows how's their billing policy?

singtel poor infra is plague
even nea hawker with minister visit, despite off peak hour, data is still not loading so peak hour also same, so where is the root cause, no idea
off peak hour mean no crowd
cross 1 traffic light, back to normal maybe cos the connected antenna change (20 seconds traffic light max) across the road

all these infra issue, is up to them to fix or ignore
because result can be shown no issue when they do their own test with creative thinking

Me too. My current plan is 4G, until end of year. Now no more 4G plan to re-contract
