Having poor Singtel network connection these 2 days, draining my phone battery quite badly.

Have tried Network Reset but problem persists.

Any suggestions what else I can do, or just observe a couple more days?

Where is the location? Is it totally lost of signal or just switching between 5G and 4G?

Commonwealth Station to Holland Village area

Unusually battery drain since I did a Network Reset when I came back, due to missing network in Malaysia. Shows 5G or 4G can use but the battery is worrying.

2 similar iPhones with total 3 ST and 1 M1 lines. The latter 5 bars while the the other hovering around 3 bars.

Battery health of said phone 90% nothing's been changed safe for the network reset.

What are the models of your iPhones?

Apple iPhones are not famous for good signal recptions, especially for those models using non-Qualcomm modems. They are trying to develop their own 5G modem but so far no success yet. There is even a rumor recently that they may give up -- but maybe not true.

And I think there are quite some reports of poor Singtel 4G signals along the East-West MRT line, say some sections between Jurong East to Redhill.

iPhones 12 Pro Max, and 12 Pro that's with the M1 line.

I went to check Down Detector, not pretty at all.

Singtel 4G/5G problems are becoming widespread it seems.

Low key disgusting because we paid "premium" for promised better coverage but at times, even my SIMBA $10 plan has no data issues in certain areas compared to my Singtel SIM plan that costs x3 more

Yes. I have no idea how their service deteriorate so badly. And the part where they kept claiming "premium" service provider.

I chose Singtel because I had the impression that they will be the best amongst the rest.

That's the impression that many of us have... or had.

I went to check Down Detector the other day, and the number and types of feedback... Amazing! :(

1 year sim only Contract expiring end of this month, and never received any recontract offers.. So maybe I'll jump ship too.. 5g still not enticing enough even though the SA coverage is available in more areas as compared to maybe other telcos.. Still not full coverage..

Paying a premium but don't see too much inconvenience to jump to cheaper options.

ya lor, what higher priority sia...

same problem as all the sintel mvnos....

same network will have same issue...
IMHO.
Singtel network too many users.
My recent Heya.SG speedtest at my location, download dropped 26%. :ROFLMAO:
In my testing, Heya.SG got slightly higher priority vs Zym.
So Singtel SIM only should be likewise.

Recontracting sim only singtel plan is a chore. They keep loading me with offers I don't want but just give me anyway...

Just subscribe ST 5G recently. At 1st the latency is low like 12-14 and now it can shoot up to 20-30...seems like it is lagging.

Hmm, that is very good. Are you using 5G SA or NSA? What is the phone model you are using?

Are you using OOkla SpeedTest? If yes, please help to post the screenshot. Thanks.
