Yes. Towards the end of the contract period, usually they will send you the recontract offer SMS or Email, say about one month or two weeks before the contract expire date. But even if you do not receive the SMS/Email offer, or you are not happy with the offer, you can still click the link mentioned here (https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/eform/simonlycampaign) and usually they will accept as long as you are existing NON-CIS Singtel Mobile postpaid customers (eg: Singtel SIM Only, XO, or legacy plans).

Sometimes they may send you recontract offer SMS/Email a bit earlier. In that case, just click the SMS/Email offer link if you are happy with the offer.

Some people are very good at negotiating with Singtel to get even better offers than the link, as reported in this forum section, say, extra one to three months free, but I tend to think they may have more leverages, or they have very good negotiation power...

Is the 5G network better now ? Previously, I was on 5G beginning of the year but keep getting disconnection when receiving call during the 3 months free 5G and sometimes need to switch to 4g to work.

I was using 5G NSA (not 5G SA as I am still using the 4G SIM Card) with the three months free 5G Access in the beginning of the year and it was quite okay.

It is said that Singtel 4G Coverage has deterioriated so that some people would like to go for 5G.

Right now I am still using 4G. And yes I encountered brief loss of signal twice last Saturday, on the train, East-West MRT line, from Jurong East station to Redhill station. I also routinely encounter such issues in a few other places even though the loss of signal is brief. So I think it is kind of true that Singtel 4G Coverage has deterioriate.

Let's hear from those who are using Singtel 5G to see if they have good experiences or not.

Weirdly, on main ST MNO, stuck forever loading.
But no issues w other lines, i.e. SH/M1 and their sub MVNOs.

I did not follow up with the web promotion closely but I think it is a recent thingy.

For Singtel SIM Only, as long as they accept your recontract without any penalty, it is okay. Sometimes they also send out SMS/Email promotion a few months before the contract expires.

1) will folks on the free 3 mths 5G trial be entitled to free SIM swap? Went to an authorized retailer and they said this was not .

2) does the SIM auto switch between SA and NSA networks depending on coverage? And if the process is seamless?

3) how is the speed between SA and NSA? Any difference?

Today 14 Oct 2023, same price but come with 150GB for Sim only 45 and 200GB for Sim only 55. Both plan come with [ONILNE EXCLUSIVE] $30 voucher on Grab, FairPrice or Dairy Farm.

So, just two weeks ago I was on the older 70 GB SIM Only Plus 45 plan, without the 20% off.

I checked out the upgrade to 120 GB without penalty, and just now I did another check out to the current 150 GB without penalty too! Today's the end of my billing cycle so I'll double check in a few days time, but yeah it looks like I've doubled my threshold at a cheaper price!

Either I have broke their billing/pricing engine, or Singtel is happy to just keep you/me/us on the same plan...
