If we compare the SIM Only plans among the big three, the Singtel S$15.28 per month plan is actually pretty decent, albeit with 12 month contract.

Singtel SIM Only 5G+ Enhanced over the $15.28 one, practically really got advantage? Not chop carrot head right?

So far no detailed test reports comparing the 5G+ Enhanced Plan versus the S$15.28 per month plain 5G+ plan.

Personally I feel the S$15.28 per month plan is pretty good already, especially for local usage. My wife and I use it as the main line.

I’ve read the T&C. Is it only targeted customers can sign up for this plan?

There's a supermarket nearby? If so, tried testing in the supermarket? Away from their cashier counters and entrance/exit.

The S$15.18 per month SingTel SIM Only plan is only for the recontract of existing SingTel Mobile customers only, not for new sign-up, not for Port-in.

For those who do not have existing SingTel Mobile plan, the easiest way is to sign up for the SingTel SIM Only 5G+ Enhanced Core plan for one month, and click the S$15.28 plan link a few days before the end of the month. As per the reports here, this method works.

just to add that when join (back) SingTel, need to pay SIM card ($20 + GST, which can be waived) and registration fee ($10 + GST, which cannot be waived, at least for me).

so there is a price to pay to switch to SingTel for a month (cheapest as shared by xiaofan to be the Enhanced Core $40 or if you're CIS you can get for ~$36) before grabbing the $15.28/mth plan.

Nov update:

After convo with chat agent last month, I was told to refer to latest bill once received for this mth to escalate the issue again.

So I approach chat agent today and was offered this initially:

GwsauJl.jpeg

Kinda pissed off at the audacity that they still want to force and charge me on their alternative roaming plan and I declined their offer.

I reasoned out with him and agent receded eventually and approved my full waiver without charge thereafter.

If you guys ever face similar offer for whatsoever bill spike situation, please do not give in and stick to your stance.

I was given an OTP to reply agent for the waiver to kick in but was reminded that waiver won't reflect in revised bill this mth and will reflect only on Pay Bill amount. Subsequently, my bill amt was reduced accordingly. Not sure if itemised waiver will reflect in next mth's bill but I will take note of it and update you guys again.

Just a gentle reminder for all Singtel lines subscribers to turn off your data roaming on both phone and Singtel app > Settings before you takeoff from SG to avoid facing such trouble that I've walked through. (y)
I had this issue just last month. Forgot to turn off the SingTel SIM Only SIM card and use my Eight SIM card. Just because SIM card was on, I was charged $16++ for data. Just maybe a few MB. Gonna wait for bill before I speak to SingTel. Feeling annoyed about their high data charges in this day and age. Simply unreasonable.

Is it advisable to go for Enhance lite for S$24.50 for 1 yr then grab the S$15 plan next yr?

Dun ask me go CIS cos i check my CIS i do not have the sim only special pricing. :(
stay with M1 Sim Only ba. Not worth heading there just for the $15/mth sim only that only happen 12 months later.

12 months later is still far, anything can happen, maybe new plans arise?

No need, just go for the no contract Singtel 5G+ Enhanced Core plan for one month and then go for the Singtel S$15.28 per month plan.

This is reported fastest way in this forum.

there seems to be another round of price war amongst the MVNOs for 5G plans... very generous with GBs and features (e.g. roaming), and around $10 - $12 (after discounts).

wondering if it was worth doing all the porting to take up the $15.28/mth plan :o

IMHO.
I just want to share my experience. I have a Singtel line. In order for me to enjoy better discount, I have to port-out then port-in again. So much for being loyal customer. :ROFLMAO:

I'm going the No Contract $40 route, like quite a few others here coz 12 months is just too long a wait for me. :o

IMHO
No such thing as loyal customer, unless you are Singtel Red or VIP customer.
Like loyal enough to cough up more dough to them. :s13:
