Is it advisable to go for Enhance lite for S$24.50 for 1 yr then grab the S$15 plan next yr?

Dun ask me go CIS cos i check my CIS i do not have the sim only special pricing. :(

CIS currently has the special price of $19.25 for the enhance lite for 12mths. You have put in cart to see the discount

I see. I will say better be a bit later, say one month before the contract expires, or at most two months before.

But if you like to try, no harm trying as well. Either they reject or they accept. If they accept they will not charge early termination fee.

Exception: if SingTel sends you the recontract link earlier (say three months or even four months before contract expires), you can carry recontract earlier.

Like to update that I have just recontracted my line.

Current contract supposedly expires on 14 May 2026. Knowing we are given 3 months window leading to contract expiry for renewal, i.e. 14 Feb 2026 for regular 2 years contracts, I experimented by signing up on 11 Feb, a few days before 14 Feb.

Gotten my new contract PDF the very next day. They auto aligned my new contract start date on 15 Feb (today). I just checked and confirmed to be on new contract with 250GB local + 50GB Malaysia data today.

Seamless and no hassle.

So can confirm renewal up to 3 months before current contract expiry is the max.

No need, just go for the no contract Singtel 5G+ Enhanced Core plan for one month and then go for the Singtel S$15.28 per month plan.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/mobile/plans/sim-only

This is reported fastest way in this forum.
Agree with @xiaofan . Just about a year ago, I wasnt sure if the suggested method work, plus i wanted the free physical sim card. So i port in via the 24.50/mth plan at a roadshow.. Just remember that it is about time now for me to convert to the $15.28/mth plan (am in my 10th month now).

5G+ enhanced was quite good when it was first launched (last year national day period). But the recent 2 months, along the green line from RP station to Pasir Ris, when the train gets packed in the tunnel and outside of the tunnel, I have got no connection on certain occasion (it can get quite spotty) even though I have the 5G signal at full bar.

why didn't u get the cheaper $15.28 plan? both also 12-mth contract.

tbh I didn't see a difference between that and the 'enhanced lite' in terms of speed and reliability.

You cannot directly jump to the Singtel SIM Only S$15.28 per month plan from another provider like M1.

One way is to go for the Enhanced Core plan for one month at S$40, the other way is to go for the 12 month Enhanced Lite plan (CIS offer or other special offer). Either one is okay.

well he chose to take up the 12-mth enhanced lite plan... which means he's not planning to get the $15.28 plan at least for the next 12 months.

12 x $19.25 = $231
$40 + 11 x $15.28 = $208.08 or lower if get the enhanced core using CIS for one month

anyways... his choice :o I'm contented to just get the $15.28/mth as a low usage user...

231 and 208, sama sama for me. Might be a big deal for you but not for me. I will stay one yr see the connection then see whether i will continue with singtel for the S$15 plan or jump back to simba-M1.
you have been with m1 for so many years, what makes you jump to singtel? Try their 5G?
