Wow is it? Only for 7-11 or family mart can use the card too? Have like 100++ left in it maybe can settle breakfast later before my flight back to reality :s13:

Tell them balance pay in cash will do fine.
If you still have says above 20ntd, you can also use it to buy drinks to bring on board the plane.
Their vending machines do accept 悠游卡。

Just collected the easycard from chevron house. The rates is at 21.4 today, not very good. Not sure if I should go and exchange when I get to Taiwan. Are the rates at the banks the same as those offered at the airport?

thanks for sharing the rate. seems like getting better, compared to last few days ... however if those who are not flying yet, can wait and see ...

Bank rate is bad. Withdrew NT from Taipei DBS and it was just 20.76

I think some are saying the exchange rates at airport are better, not the withdrawal from ATMs. I plan to exchange them in Taiwan airport, keeping my fingers crossed.

Exchange rates at airport, be it in Singapore or Taiwan, are bad now.
Arcade is my preferred choice.

Megabank is 21.1500, still need to minus 30ntd per transaction.
So consolidate and change.
No point change 2 times.

That was several years ago, not now. You do need plenty of luck to even get a decent rate at the Taoyuan Airport.

There is no bad or good. This is the new norm. Just like wantan mee used to cost $2.50, now $3.50 and above.

fyr:
Taiwan Megabank rates: 21.15
BOT: 21.14

Just to ask for 自强 train the seat on the top indicate e.g. window 17 aisle 19. So is the seat for seat 17 or 19? Still can't quite figure out this strange numbering.
