anyone knows why EVA air TPE-SIN-TPE route on time performance is much lower than SQ SIN-TPE-SIN ar?

for ref (on time performance %)
EVA TPE-SIN BR225 43% , SIN-TPE BR226 43%
EVA TPE-SIN BR215 34% , SIN-TPE BR216 56%
SQ SIN-TPE SQ876 95%, TPE-SIN SQ877 92%
SQ SIN-TPE SQ878 90%, TPE-SIN SQ879 87%

eg today's br216 original supposed to be 1545 de but 1828 then take off, supposed to arrive 2015, but now is scheduled to arrive 2243 due to the delay

worried cause i booked Eva for upcoming flight, if late cannot claim my NTD5000

u should go ask airlines why they still sell tickets despite them being informed of the runway maintenance....

Anyway Taoyuan 3rd runway is estimated to complete in 2025... so hopefully less congestion in future....

i don't know if airlines aware or airport has informed about annual maintenance in advanced. but from news, seems to indicate they aren't aware

yes... seems like airlines not informed.... weird... can suka suka do maintenance one meh? thought they will plan manpower and other resources to do maintenance....

The main problem is why TIAC closed the runway for maintenance on the day which result the huge impact of delayed. They can always do the maintenance at night like what CAG been doing to minimize the impact of flight delayed and safety hazzard for aircraft

i read also create issues for departures. no gate holding procedures so departure flights got hold up in queue burning fuels unnecessary.

Both Dep and Arr sure have problem since they only run on 1 runway. Very poor planning from TIAC.

Last time they always within the world top 20 airport but recent years they already almost dropped out from the top 100
