RIP.

Left hand drive, unfamiliar driving culture, road condition, etc....

I used to work n drive in Phnom Penh, initially
difficult to adjust to left or right turning, etc. Regularly opened the wrong side of door. :D
I try not to drive if it is left hand drive.

Had the experience in Jeju and Germany. Have to admit, it was very stressful as it needed lots of concentration from me trying to remind me all the time I'm doing left hand drive and not right hand drive. Just too tiring.

So never considered driving in Taiwan. Plus some roads in Taipei city rather confusing. 2 sides going same direction with a barrier in the middle. Some junctions so big, most likely I'll end up driving to the opposite traffic if I lose focus. Not to mention the narrow mountainous roads going to Jiufen. That was scary even while watching my tour bus navigating with the opposite vehicles coming along or waiting.

For me, I'll stick to letting people drive me around. :o

Taiwan pork been certified by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) since 2020. Philippines first to start import Taiwan pork in 2023. so far so good, great to have another alternative food source.

Great to know its safe and reliable.
Yes, always better to have more alternative sources of food supply for SG.

Anyone did Taiwan VAT refund via credit card before?

Roughly how long can we expect the refund to be paid to our CC?

Thanks!
