Unique melody in china. Anyway I checked price with nullaudio. Total 450 with lune cable for us. Xmas promo 10% off. Total 405. Each person 202.5 + impressions. About 280.

Meaning it's $202.50 to reshell + another $60 for impressions ?

Btw , i've already done impressions at Digisound before , go there must redo and pay the $60 again ?

Like how some people only wants to hear boom boom bass, some likes an accentuated sparkle in the higher end of the sound spectrum whereas some wants a generally well-balanced sound.

hahaha... it sounds like a comparison between pns camera users switching to dslr camera users. but those pns camera users don't know how to use a dslr well.

i believe that sounds is similar to acquired tastes. the sounds we listen to should resonate and is smooth soothing. even boom boom sounds have this particular distinct feel.

Should be arund the same price. I try ask for discount. Impressions only last one month iirc. so must make again.

i am not sure why people here already think to change the cable. Too many people bashed it. It was $600+ earphone. okay now it's USD$95. but still you should take a good care about it.

I used for 1year+ still looks fine. UE also gives good case to store it when travelling.

Reshell it might change the its signature. some might like or hate it.
So try it first before spend on something might not suit you.

anyway like slogan at headfi, purchasing TF10 for $99 is just a beginning.
and more to spend and "Sorry for your wallet"

Reshelling doesn't change the sound signature. Only when you add additional drivers then it will change its sound signature.
