As much as I would love to convince you, it seems you're set on the ES8.
But if you talk about value - $48 - retailer's cut - distro cut + Cost of shipping - manufacturer's profit = cost of the cable..

Lets try this.
Go and measure your stock earphone cable.

Minus 30%-40% from the outer diameter for the inner diameter of the rubber sleeve. for the thickness - that itself is already lesser than 0.3mm.
Inside there is 4 strands of enameled copper wires with maybe fiber to provide it's shape.

So how big do you think the stock earphone cable is?

Given the diameter of the ES8 cable wires, if you think about resistance/conductivity vs a 1x 28 AWG/0.3mm thick conductor x 2, 1 for signal and 1 for ground.
Which will conduct the signal better?

I have done enough repair jobs/cabling and mutilating of cables to know - not boasting, i know this from experience.
But you won't believe till you cut open a cable yourself - so will you?

weib, cant you answer me. im sincerely inquiring on it. in the first place im not interested in silver cause i have enough details in my dba-02. and the highs on triplefi is quite harsh as ive heard. also i heard gold adds a nice sparkle to ur music.

sry i forgot to add good customer service for audiohub in that post. cos ive had great conversations with louis ling from audiohub. how would my 3 posts above be stirring shiat? can you explain. actually may have something to do with my mood cos im still pissed off at viaddress and im waiting for 10 pm to come which is when i can call viaddress and give them a piece of my mind
