my JB trip yesterday, I used YouTrip and got FX ranging from 3.089 to 3.094 for several transactions

XE.com was showing 3.10

cashchanger.co was 3.09

money changer at Mid Valley was 3.087

the rate today in SG now is quite bad

i just changed, only get MYR 306

XE.com is MYR 312 !

Cash Changer Best Rate is MYR 308

if not kena nagged, I would have changed only when in JB or rely on my "yet to be tested" Revolut withdrawal

There is a 10 RM fee at the MY side.

No fee at SG side.

Yes it is fixed at RM 10.
I don't know if there is another agent bank fee for the txn as stated in the earlier screenshot.

Huh after I transfer I withdraw the money in JB.

Think no min balance. Initial deposit of RM 250 for the AirAsia Savers account. RM 15 annual fee for the debit card.

Still allow. If your CIMB MY account was opened in pre-COVID days, you need to go down to that one and only JB branch that can process SG customers right?

Now COVID, can do at their Raffles Place branch in SG. Must have CIMB SG account first, then can open CIMB MY. Good thing is now can do everything in SG. Bad thing is need to make appointment, weekday appointments can get within 3 weeks, Saturday appointments need to wait longer.

Previously I put my CIMB SG ATM card into the machine in MY and withdraw cash, but with all the TnG refund issues, I thought if have a CIMB MY account it will be convenient.
