From my experience, they will try to deduct myr 1st from the wallet myr balance, if not enough it will auto exchange sgd if any using (not the best) rate. Still not enough, the transaction will fail.

First time tried out mobile payment with Youtrip at JB~ Added Youtrip virtual card to my Google Pay and made payment like I would do it in SG~

just today an hour ago, took grab then book cable car rides at Langkawi~

the grab fee splitted into 3 charges, base fare rm21, surge rm7 then I tipped rm2 to driver~ the conversion were 3.471, 3.465, 3.448 respectively~

shortly I booked cable car rides & sky bridge tickets via klook, rm323.62~ the conversion was 3.473~

I’ve personally noticed the same thing with Revolut. For smaller amounts, it makes more sense to top up one shot RM50 to TnG and pay via the scan and pay function.

May I know how long u waited to receive your master card?
I waited 3 weeks already,
virtual card not approve yet & card not receive also.
CSO keep on asking to update manual form etc. Which I already done so weeks ago together with Singpass verification.

Test water signed up for ichange. Now their digital currency is 3.5128 and cash currency is at 3.46... The digital currency rate is nice. Gonna treat it as a promo and use ichange for now. Storing trust and youtrip in cold palace haha...

I tried to exchange the digital currency for MYR and successfully transfer it to TnG...

Also I received the physical card for free within 4 days from my sign up...

I receive the physical card within 4 days. before that Im using the virtual card to topup TnG.

Yes, i read from HWZ some customer complain cannot get the cards or whatnot... you can still try trust or youtrip, their rates are also quite good. actually we also not sure when ichange rate can maintain such good rates for long or not.
