So far i didnt try using youtrip to topup TnG.. Didnt know it will carry a 1% charge.


I been using Instarem instead of youtrip as i could convert SGD to MYR and keep inside Instarem wallet.

I will normally convert SGD to MYR in Instarem
And when i need, i will topup TnG via instarem. so far there are no 1% charges.

Mine is debit card, but i have already checked with TnG staff, they are unable to differentiate based on 16 digit card numbers so they they just charge 1% since it's a Visa.

Now that you mention.. i just check my email.. yup.. all my reload from Instarem there are NO convenience fee..

So back to my original understanding, Instarem, Revolut, and YouTrip all 3 have no fee for top up to TnG eWallet.

I've never looked at the details in TnG emails, so went to double-check.

My last trip to JB 2 weeks ago, there is no 1% service charge. Just top up TNG for my JB trip also no.

but rate is bad for MYR (RMB not affected as i pay taobao )as compare to money changer
