Hi, I need some advice regarding SGD to MYR transfers/remittance.
Besides using CIMB/Maybank SG to CIMB/Maybank MY, between Instarem, Revolut, Wise and YouTrip, which would be the best choice for occasional (1-3 times per year) SGD-MYR transfers?

Besides using CIMB/Maybank SG to CIMB/Maybank MY, between Instarem, Revolut, Wise and YouTrip, which would be the best choice for occasional (1-3 times per year) SGD-MYR transfers?

For me if I'm not a weekly/frequent traveller, I would just use YouTrip.

I like YouTrip because it is easy to navigate within its app., ie for top-up, revert balance to Bank, send money to fellow YouTrippers. But I must say here I rarely use YouTrip & although I've Wise & Revolut they are also rarely used - but for me YouTrip is the easiest to navigate among these 3 apps.

Yes, between Change, Revolut, Instarem, and YouTrip, I use the last one most frequently. Others would be credit cards, MyCIMB, TnG, and cash for Grab and very minimal others.

Yes, if MYD is insufficient for full payment then remaining amt will be deducted from SGD.

YouTrip as I said can send money to YouTrip users/accounts.

I think you need to check with Youtrip.
Top up SGD, SGD-MYR - this process is ok.
MYR to MY bank- from what I see can only SGD to bank (own account), transfer only via YT to YT.
